I love this place. They're a small family run business that began in Germany about 150 years ago…read more They process and tan animal hides, as well as make excellent leather clothing and accessories. Gloves, mittens, vests, duffels, messenger bags, etc. This location is where they do their retail business and leatherwork. The hides, thankfully, are processed at a different location. For years I knew them as the Uber Glove Company. It's possible that it still is, and Century Leather Products may just be their web presence. The quality of their work can't be beat. I had a pair of their mittens for over 20 years that I replaced this winter only because I lost them. They have a tanned leather palm and black fur-like back, that make them look like bear paws. I recently went there to buy some slippers and saw that they have an all leather version of these mittens. I was so impressed with the look and quality, that I bought a pair of mittens in the middle of May. The person I spoke with was extremely nice and the prices are reasonable considering the workmanship involved.
