I was actually hesitant to book her because she was pricier than I had budgeted for, but once we had the trial, I knew she was THE ONE. And let me tell you, she was worth every penny and more! I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life than on my wedding day and it was all thanks to Q. Not only is she extremely talented, but I also ended up just totally falling in love with her personality as well! I absolutely loved working with her. She is SO easy going and accommodating and will work with you to customize your perfect wedding day look. She made me feel comfortable telling her exactly what I had in mind, and when I wasn't sure about something she was able to give me her expert opinion and guide me in the right direction. She has a great artistic eye for using makeup to highlight YOUR specific features so that you essentially look like the BEST glowy gorgeous version of yourself. She also works very quickly which is nice because it leaves plenty of time for tweaks or touchups. Q has my highest recommendation. If you want a HMUA that's going to make you look and feel like a princess, do not hesitate to book Q. You can't go wrong with her. I am convinced that she is the best HMUA out there.

The 5 star average for Quynh is well-deserved!…read more I'm really particular about vendors delivering quality service, and for sure, Quynh was one of my favorite wedding vendors to work with. She was always communicative, professional, honest, and so easy to talk to. She never pushes you toward a certain look, and instead, guides you to figure out what you might like or might suit you best. She is a bit on the pricier end, but if you want quality work from someone who's reliable and pleasant to work with, then book Quynh! Also, let's just say there was a stark contrast between how I looked on my wedding day (when Quynh did my hair and makeup) vs my engagement photos (where I did my own hair and makeup). Don't make the same mistake as me... use her for both!

I have used 5, leaving 17 prepaid credits I have never been able to redeem. Here is what happens every single visit: staff confirms my available credits at check-in, I receive my service, and at checkout I am told they do not know how to apply the credits. The manager is messaged and I leave without a resolution, every time. I have reached out following multiple visits and have not received a single response. This is not a one-time miscommunication. This is a repeated pattern of collecting monthly membership fees while consistently failing to honor what those fees cover. I have full documentation of every charge, every visit, and every unanswered follow-up. I would like this resolved.

When I moved to Dallas a few years ago, I found Jenny on Instagram and instantly became obsessed…read more Every bride, every look--she slayed every single time. That's when I knew: when it was my turn, it had to be Jenny. Naturally, she was the very first vendor I booked when I entered my wedding era. I actually called her the week after I got engaged, asked which dates she had open--and then planned my wedding around her availability. That's how serious I was. I almost skipped doing a trial because I trusted Jenny that much. But when we talked, she encouraged me to go for it--not because I needed it, but because it's part of the whole wedding experience. And she was so right. It made everything feel even more real and exciting. My mom came with me to my trial, and we had such a fun time--especially with her assistant, Anu, there too. During the trial, I told Jenny I wanted to look sleek and snatched for one of my pre-wedding events. We landed on this stunning high bun, and when I got home, my dad said he loved my hair--Indian girlies, you know what a moment that is lol. Fast forward to the wedding weekend, and of course I started second guessing the sleek look. I walked in that morning and told Jenny, "Maybe we should play it safe and do a loose half-up, half-down instead." Jenny didn't let me off that easy--she literally sent me to another room to think it over! After a moment, we started my makeup, and once I had my blouse and jewelry on, Jenny tried both hairstyles on me--the soft look and the sleek high bun. The moment I saw them side by side, I knew. There was no way I could NOT go with the bun. It was just too good. Jenny had known from the beginning that this was the look. She saw the vision the second we did the trial and when I showed her my outfit. She knew what I was going for even when I started to doubt myself--and she guided me right back to it. I'm fully convinced that if I'd gone with anyone else, they would've just done what I said that morning, and I would've looked completely different. Jenny is the best of the best for a reason. Of course, when it came to the big day, Jenny slayed my classic bridal look--exactly how I imagined it. She and her team also took care of my mom, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law for both days, and they were incredible. My mom has had some questionable experiences with professional hair and makeup in the past, so I wasn't sure what to expect--but she loved how beautiful Jenny made her feel. She was completely at ease the entire time, and I could tell she genuinely felt confident and happy with both of her looks. Everyone looked so beautiful, and we had such a fun, easy time together thanks to them. Truly the dream team!

Here's the thing. You get what you pay for but this business is not transparent at all when it…read morecomes to pricing, what you're getting, and what a 'completed' look is. And terrible service and communication overall. I'm kicking myself in the boots for not going with a more up to date make up & hair artist thinking I was going to get a decent experience here for a cheaper price, and then ended up paying more than a skilled makeup and hair place. First, I asked for Hollywood waves over email. The email came back saying my pictures were glam waves, so I said sure I'll do glam waves. When my hair was 'finished' curling, the front of the hair was not styled at all so I asked for more curls in the front. That ended up being a '2nd style' (at check out mind you, not during) ~ and then she proceeds to tell me 'this is Hollywood waves, not glam waves' Second, the make up artist Leslie, kept asking me what kind of look I wanted so I gave her exact instructions of what I liked. When we got to the bottom of the eyes, she just put dark colors everywhere and I looked ghoulish- I asked her to brighten it up and she asked for a picture. So I pull up a picture of a Vietnamese bride, and immediately she looks at it and says 'that's Korean make up. You need to go look for a Korean Make up artist'. I was so shocked by that comment I wanted to leave then and there but wanted to still finish the trial I signed up for. This ended up being $500 because they're calling me asking for her to complete the look, two different make up and two hair styles. I asked for the bottom part of the eyes to be brightened so that was a second make up look, and asking to style the front of the hair was called a second hair look... which all happened through the way she went about asking random questions as she's doing the make up and hair during the appointment vs. having a holistic conversation up front in the beginning. I just feel so bamboozled. Also the chairs they have you sitting is extremely uncomfortable with a low back- I honestly can't believe I was charged more to sit there and go through this experience. My back hurt for the next few days. I reached out to the business for clarification and they just simply said I got two hair looks and two make up looks, except I don't have two finished looks anywhere but just one of each. No pictures of two separate looks as they were not finished. I should have said I am not paying that then and there but I was so tired I had no energy to argue, and had to go to another meeting next. I can't recommend a business that 1) is not clear about their policy -- they need to tell you ahead of time 'if you're asking me to add this color to the bottom of your eyes, I'm going to charge another $100 for this look' instead of asking for feed back for every single thing (I'm not the makeup artist here!). I gave one feedback throughout the session and that ended up being a 'second look' and 2) immediately classifies something as 'Korean makeup' because I show a picture of an Asian woman, and tells me to go find a Korean make up artist.
