I'll be returning on the incredibly detail oriented, thoughtful work of Lilly's impeccable technique alone (even with my long, very thick and coarse hair) but the atmosphere is, home. It's warm and welcoming in that special way that makes you completely comfortable staying for 30min or hours on end. Zohra makes sure of that with her warm, inclusive conversational style. So, if you're looking for supermodels pushing expensive hair products you haven't got a clue what to do with, and in mirrors and marble, this is not your place. But if you're looking for good, salt of the earth people who can have you feeling and looking gorgeous/handsome inside and out, this is absolutely your place. As a side note, I happen to be part of the LGBTQ+ community, which didn't come up and it shouldn't need to but I felt comfortable from beginning to end. The diverse group of staff and clientele was a wonderful added touch too! Payment: credit/debit via Visa or Mastercard Tips: cash or Venmo (they have a great card with every stylist's Venmo QR code posted right at the desk) Booking: online through Vagaro was super easy and convenient

My wife came in for a haircut and blow dry, and our son (who has long, curly/wavy hair) was…read morescheduled for a trim at the same time. While my wife was getting her hair washed, our son's haircut was done, so she didn't get to see the result until the very end. Her haircut itself was fine, but the blow dry was poorly done. The stylist only straightened the mid-lengths and ends, leaving the top 2-3 inches at the roots curly and frizzy. When she pointed this out, the stylist said it was "because her hair is curly." She explained that she had plenty of blowouts before and that the roots are always smoothed. He offered to flat iron it, but that's not what she wanted. She expected a proper blowout, not bone-straight hair. When she told him that he should've been upfront if he couldn't do a blowout, he got defensive and raised his voice. She wasn't going to let anyone speak to her disrespectfully, so she raised her voice too. At that point, the other stylist stepped in to re-wet her hair, and my wife used her own curly hair products and just left with her hair natural. Then she looked at our son's haircut and it was visibly uneven and crooked. When she brought it up, both stylists insisted it was "just the way curly hair looks" or that she was "pulling on a strand." That wasn't the case, it was just a bad, rushed cut. They did offer to fix it, but by then she'd lost all confidence in their ability to do so. If you don't know how to properly work with curly hair, cutting it or blowing it out , just say so. This wasn't our first time here, and her previous experience was decent, but this visit was disappointing. It felt rushed and careless, and that simply doesn't work with curly hair. We won't be coming back.

There is no transparency about their services, they perform services without you knowing until it's time to check out. if you are not happy with any services and communicate that to them - they immediately take defense and dismiss you from their establishment. These 2 women mistreat loyal customers and are unkind mean girls, bullies would be a better word to describe them. I have witnessed first hand them taking about their clients behind their backs. What is most unfortunate. is that their stylists suffer for their behavior. Maybe they should move elsewhere, we don't need businesses like this here in Havertown.

Their price range for woman's cuts is $35 up to a little over $60, depending of course on who is cutting your hair, and they asked which price range I was comfortable with which I greatly appreciated! My cap was $45, but ended up paying $35. Lisa cut my hair and did an amazing job with it and styled it beautifully! She was really sweet and answered all of my questions about products and what type of help their salon would offer me when it comes time to start planning my hair for my wedding. The atmosphere there was very friendly! Clients and staff all seemed to know each other and created an easy atmosphere to enjoy. They're currently in the process of redoing the decor which I didn't even notice! It's extremely cute inside and can't wait to see the finished product. Because I will definitely become a regular client!

A few years ago she decided that you could only give cash tips, no more adding them to your credit card. More recently she decided that you have to pay the credit card fees if you are paying with a credit card. Are you serious?!?!?! They are always busy...always. It's not like she is struggling to make ends meet. The fact that she is constantly make the customer come out of pocket to offset her business costs is just annoying. If it wasn't for my hairdresser that I've been going to for a very long time, I would have been out of here a looooonnnnng time ago. There are no perks at all. She doesn't give free samples, no gifts around the holidays, nothing. Just more fees! Now she increased prices on top of the added fees. One time I was given the wrong change. I didn't even realize until I was almost home and I had to drive all the way back because it was a full $10 short. The woman that answers the phone is not kind or friendly. The shampooers are always leaving you soaking wet. Ever since Ricardo left, they've been hard pressed to find a good shampoo person. The parking lot is tiny and an accident waiting to happen. Once my eyebrow waxer left (a long time ago), I decided to just stop getting waxed because the new girl did an awful job and I never bothered trying anyone else. Again, if it wasn't for my actual hairdresser, this place wouldn't have anything going for it. Hopefully the owner can start putting more effort into doing something for her loyal customers before she starts losing more of her hair stylists...and their customers.

Certainly there are worse ways to get ready for a massage! After the massage, I went into a proverbial recovery room. It was similar to a salt cave of sorts. There was a waterfall with calcified salt all around it. I will absolutely be back, and I will try out different massages moving forward.
