The Glamis beach store is located near the road and by the start of the washes. It has all your last minute needs however, there is a price for that convenience! Items are double to triple the price you would normally pay. I say only buy if you have to and to come prepared. read more

Wow come prepared or pay the price. They do have what you need to get by but you will pay triple the price any where else. But the next closest town is 30 miles away so unless you want to cruise 60 miles to get some food I suggest you plan ahead. They also charge you $2.00 to use your card. read more

Very friendly people work here. They have a lot of stuff for your off-road on motorcycle needs. Also an assortment of groceries and miscellaneous stuff that you need on your trip, and they have everything you can think off for camping and off roading. They are not cheap but they have what you need. The cost of not preparing for your trip well enough is up to you. read more

Love this place. This place has so much history inside they should charge admission. Glamis is no place for the spineless or the unprepared. Need to buy something and you are in the middle of the sand dunes? Guess what, you are going to get fleeced. Wandering around this place looking for customer service? This isn't Macy's, buy something or hit the bricks. I remember way back in the day buying gas for my bike here when $2.00/gallon was so expensive I contemplated walking my bike back to gecko rd. Go in buy a shirt from the 1960s, a screwdriver, and a beer... you will have a story, even if they don't smile or say thank you. read more

One word. Horrible. Horrible prices - 1 pack smokes and a can of coke...$9.85. $8.50 for the smokes and $1.35 for the CAN of coke. Horrible people - A friend from Phoenix took his 8 yr old daughter in to use the bathroom while he bought some supplies for the campsite. They refused to let the little girl use the bathroom unless he paid $2 for her. He explained that he was a customer and buying stuff, but to no avail. I'm giving Glamis Beach Store 3 stars because.. It's the only Store in town. LOL and because it's the only store their prices are off the chart. I guess you better come prepared. Another thing is they close early! But the store manager was nice enough to still take my order.. I bought 2 packs of cigarettes and gave him a $20. With no change back!?!?!?! Cigarettes were 9.50 a pack! and he said he had no till so no change back! Although it was only a $1 in change I could of almost bought a carton! So anyway... I'm not a fan of this store, damn vender row is never open when we come out. So this is how it is... You're in Glamis, miles and miles and miles from anything, this is your only local store. They are going to charge you alot for everything, it's called supply and demand.. That's why you hit up the AMPM in salton sea where you get your passes. I have only bought a flag to put on my whip, it was junk. They have shirts from 10+ years ago at a low low price of $5.00. My buddy needed batteries 2 AAA for $4 they were not even in a package, lasted him a whole hour, they were used. I have no business being in Glamis, but we happened to be in the neighborhood and my man-friend wanted to visit this place, and there was no where to eat for miles. Miles, I tell you. Anyway, I tried to keep an open mind, but it was worse than I expected. I didn't enjoy myself very much. We went to the counter place upstairs which serves pizza, burgers and hotdogs. I'm sure it serves its purpose. The pizza looked kinda good, but looks can be deceiving. I should have known better. We waited forever for it to be cooked, and when we got it the crust was like cardboard and the cheese was so hot it burnt my mouth, and the mushrooms were surely from a can. I wished that someone on their way out would have warned me about the pizza, but they probably don't care or know or care to know how much better pizza can be. So yeah. I won't be going back. The downstairs store was quite interesting. The bathrooms were there and I had to pee. It cost $2 to use the bathroom that was through a back door, down a long hallway, past some locker room showers, through another door outside to another building, and then bam - horror movie rape scene bathroom. Stopped in several times over our New Years Week family and friends camp out. They have what you forgot at the Glamis Beach Store. Of course it's expensive cheese balls, So was that rental quad I saw your wife flip a few times in the dunes but your on vacation so just relax. Tee shirts lil old, hit up vender row for the latest and greatest prints and all your friend will think you look fresh. All I can say is either get yourself a half million dollar RV & trailer, make sure you pack everything you'll need in AND THEN BACK OUT AGAIN; or, embrace the character and convenience of the one and only Glamis Beach Store and the people who run it. You have no idea what these people have seen and put up with over many years and then wonder why they charge for everything. As some of you noted, you probably don't belong there anyway but don't worry, the next time you go back there will probably be a mini Wal-Mart across the street which will run the Store out of business...and then the Wal-Mart will close and you can reminisce about the good ole Glamis Beach Store days. read more

Always have a great time riding out here at the dunes! Glamis store will ALWAYS be higher in price on anything you need or want. Thats a given. You ARE in the middle of nowhere. This place has to keep their lights on and pay bills. So, it does cost them more money to keep things going verses a bigger town or city. Commen sense. If you didn't bring something there's a good chance they might have it. Now, THAT DEPENDS on if you are staying for a off weekend or for the holidays. Either way you'll be spending some dough. Worst possible service on the planet. I actually drive to Brawley as opposed to shopping here. there are plenty of "Hidden stores" close by that provide needed items (cigs, beer, etc..). This place is dirty and the prices can't be justified. It's pretty bad when I pay $7 per pack of smokes and $15 for a 12 pack of bud light on Gecko Road from "The Van" and I am SMILING because I saved money lol. Just drive to Brawley and be treated with respect. read more

I have been going to Glamis to ride for years..This store is for the people in the desert for the most part...Its for the people that ride out in the dunes... its dusty and dirty and they are sometimes not friendly. They charge for the bathrooms because there are too many people during riding season that would come to use them and destroy them (as you noticed). The food is sucky...but its not a known dining destination. The riding season is short so I'm guessing why its so expensive. If you happened to drop in not knowing what it is then ya..it looks bad and tastes bad...but if you went there as a rider at glamis, you know why its like that and you should just bring an ice chest with your own food and drinks. Or try vendor row...the food is probably better. read more

What do you expect?! This store is SEASONAL so they have to charge an arm and a leg and we are happy to have them. They were here long before vendors so I say support them first even if it's throwing a couple extra dollars their way. It's like a museum in there too so shop and enjoy the ambiance! read more

The looks of the place are a bit sterile now since they moved it to the south side of 78. I don't have any complaints though, especially with all of the history there, but I thought Ted Kipf Road was across the street and continued to the south on the east side of the railroad tracks. read more
