Went a couple months back to get my Virgin hair colored. First look after hair was complete it looked great felt great there was nothing to complain about. On the third day it was time to wash my hair and my hair felt completely ruined stringy and bungee like thought maybe it was because I didn't have good shampoo or conditioner or that it just needed time to get back to how it was. That was not the case we are months out now and my hair is till the same if not worse I've had so much breakage in my hair and they charged me up the ass just to ruin my hair definitely won't ever be going back. read more

Went a week prior for a"Consultation" the consultation only lasted about 3minutes. The stylist did not test strand, maybe if she would've done a test strand it would've been obvious that my hair was not going to be able to hold a round of bleach. One side of my hair has fallen completely off it feels disgusting, my hair feels extremely damaged. I had an experience about three months ago, the place is nice, the staff is friendly, I followed for a year this salon on ig, I thought that my hair will be just as the pictures I saw after my appointment... I'm really shy so I couldn't tell the colorist that my hair wasn't the color that I wanted, she told me that the color would be lighter after washing it. (never achieved what I was looking for) I had chemical burns on my scalp, my hair was fried and broken hair fibers due to the time that the bleach was left. (Almost 3 hours ) I know I have a lot of hair but is not nice that your hairstylist keep telling you that during the process. I was really disappointed. And I've spent a lot on treatments since the procedure. I don't want to hurt the business, I'm just telling my honest experience. Look first of all it's expensive but you get your worth for every dollar you pay for. It was my girlfriend's first time getting her hair colored and cut in a completely different style so I had to go somewhere that I knew she would be in good hands. They NAILED IT. This was my first time at Glam House, with a really pretty purple glamour aesthetic atmosphere and my appointment was with Liz (who by the way is amazing) highly recommend her! I came in with about 3-4 inches of root growth and the rest of my hair dark. I am a natural blonde and wanted to get a close to that color again! I was blown away with the results, and the fact she listened to what I wanted and we made a game plan together to achieve my hair goals. This was such a positive experience especially with being a hair hairstylist myself. Price wise, I believe every dollar was worth it. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and it wasn't even close. It was too blond (the picture had NO blond)I had virgin hair so I was very upset, and asked if she could please fix it. They did, at a charge. The atmosphere was negative. I was surrounded by four girls the whole time and they would complain about customers with "too much hair" and how they hoped they didn't get them. I went in after speaking to a hairstylist that works there named Alyssa.. I showed her references on what I wanted. After being there for 5 excruciating hours I got what I didn't want. The complete opposite. I went home, drove 45 damn minutes just to cry at home and had to call back with how disappointed I was with my hair. Let's just say it was the most I paid for my hair. My hair is short so I was very confused on the price. Spoke to the manager after going back and forth with Alyssa, which that's so unprofessional, and explain why I wasn't happy with it. 0/10 would recommend. Spent another hour with the manager trying to fix my hair after another 45 min drive to the shop.Save your money. For me to explain my thoughts and not being heard it's absolutely RIDICULOUS. My friend gets her hair done by Kiara. And I absolutely loved her work. I was told everyone there does amazing work. I came to this salon because I followed them on Instagram and their work online looked nice. Unfortunately, I walked out 5 hours later with nothing of what I asked for. I showed the girl how I wanted my hair colored which is something she had already done on someone else that she posted on ig. She ended up doing something else completely different. Then I asked her to cut my hair short with bangs because I have a 4 month baby and don't have time in the morning to style my hair for length I had it. She said she wasn't the best at cutting bangs and only cut an inch off and suggested not to cut anymore off because I'm sure she didn't want too. I showed them three pictures, hoping they'd be able to help me figure out what was best to do. They took their time with everything they did, making sure it was perfect. I've had the worst luck in the past in other salons with either a color not coming out the way I hoped, a cut that came out wrong or too short, the girls all worked so well together as a team that there was no room for anything but perfection. My color job was literally the best I ever had! I was so scared to cut my hair with how bad my cuts in the past had been, but it came out perfect. I walked out SO happy! DO NOT GO HERE!!! Liz who did my hair was over 30 minutes late. I tell her that my past stylist overlapped my roots causing damaged She starts to color my roots, just slapping it on in a hurry. Doing the back of my hair first, no one has ever done that. Then her next client comes in. Starts my front, runs out of color. Rushing to get more, starts mixing it. Puts it on my head, starts burning, only on the part. She tells me that it is normal, I tell her only on the one side with the new color. She checks it, says its not quite done. A couple minutes later she checks it again, tells a girl to wash it. I tell her I want to make sure it has been on enough. The shampoo & conditioner they use makes my hair feels crunchy. Asking if I want a cut & blow dry. Letting this woman touch my hair more, not going to happen. I get home, it was so light, you could still see the grey, I have dark hair. I call her tell her what she did to my hair & I want my money back & she said ok. She said she would put it in a envelope at the front for Monday, I come in on my lunch. No envelope, call her Tuesday. Says she is not giving me my money back & will re do my roots. I tell her there is NO WAY she will touch my hair.
