X-rays were taken and she (our DR) showed us the break and explained everything. She let us take a copy of the X-rays with her report and advised us to go to ER. The banner at the top of their website reads COVID-19 TESTING AND VACCINATION CENTER. Really??!?…read more...So I called at 7:00 to see if they were still testing, as they close in one hour, at 8:00 pm. No answer. I figure, they must be so swamped they can't get to the phone. No available appts online for the next two days, and unable to check beyond that. So, I get my child into the car and drive over, arriving 7:10-7:15. Are they closed? Looks like a ghost town (see pic). Nah, it's just dark tinting on the windows. Door is unlocked, waiting room is quiet and empty! Lucky us!! A young lady is behind the front desk, and asks how she can help. "We're here for COVID testing." She replied, "We stop doing that every day at 2:00, because ... so many people have COVID." (HWHAAA--?). I said it would've been nice if she'd answered the phone and let me know that before I made the trip, or if they had noted it on their website, to which she replied, "Yeah." Customer service seems to be a foreign concept here. I guess the reimbursement for COVID testing isn't worth their time. My first and hopefully last visit to Maxem. Don't waste your time here- head to AlphaCare - no wonder they were fully booked tonight. Unlike Maxem, AlphaCare seems to want to help people!
