I had a bit of a wait but once I was taken to the room I saw why. Dr. Louis offers TOP TIER service! She takes her time, listens, provides detailed information and answers ALL questions! I felt so well taken care of and am hopeful that the recommendations will resolve my issues. At the beginning of my appointment, I showed the aesthetician the specific areas I wanted addressed and explained that I came to Dermani because my previous place wasn't thorough with extractions. She assured me she would take care of everything, no problem. However, before even starting the facial, she was fidgeting around for about 20-25 minutes, leaving the room multiple times. It became clear something was very off. The aesthetician (whose name I'll keep private) appeared to be under the influence. She was slurring her words, rambling incoherently, laughing, and unable to stay focused. A facial is supposed to be relaxing and peaceful, but this was the complete opposite. When the service finally ended, I asked for a mirror and saw that none of my areas of concern were addressed. I pointed this out, and she brushed it off by saying the blemishes were "under the skin," which was simply not true. Many had already come to a head and could have been easily extracted. She refused to correct it. Out of discomfort (and because it was closing time), I still tipped her just to avoid an awkward situation. The next morning, I called and spoke with the manager, Ashraf, who said she would refund me. However, only the facial was refunded, not the tip. When I called back, the front desk told me they had decided not to refund the tip, even after I explained why I had given it. I was told Ashraf would call me back, but after 24 hours, she never did. I ended up going to another spa two days later, and they were able to extract everything easily with no issue. Don't be misled by the 4.9-star rating. My experience was completely unacceptable and unprofessional from start to finish. I have proof of everything stated here.
