I learned very quickly that not all make up artists are the same so when I found Lala I knew she was the one. Lala is more than fairly priced and was very accommodating to my travel needs for the wedding day. We worked together on a bridal trial, which she so graciously agreed to do for me 3 months before my wedding. She also very much understood the timeline we had to keep up with for the wedding day and over delivered. She showed up early and ready to work with her team of make up gurus. We had a total of 10 ladies and myself and everyone was ready to go with time to spare. If you're looking for a true make up artist who is professional and one you can trust, look no further than Lala. Thank you for all you did Lala!!

Not only did she give me a…read morebob and cut double of what I asked, but the layers she gave me are the most uneven weird looking layers I've ever seen. I can't style my hair anymore, and I went to Drybar and they were having a hard time also. This was the worst haircut I've ever had. The worst part is that the shortest layer is so short that I can't even go get it fixed because I don't want it any shorter. I went to her because she had good reviews. But this cut clearly proves otherwise.

I came in with healthy hair with plenty of density to work with. I just asked for a trim with long…read morelayers. The ends were significantly over-layered/texturized, leaving a very noticeable difference between the density of the rest of my hair and the bottom. Instead of having a cohesive, full-looking perimeter, the ends taper into a bunch of different lengths and look thin, wispy, and uneven. My hair is naturally fairly straight, so the excessive layering is especially obvious. I understand that not every haircut turns out exactly as expected, but for an $80 haircut, I really didn't expect to leave needing a corrective cut somewhere else.

ASIAN LADIES, GIOVANISSA KNOWS HOW TO DO ASIAN FACES!!!…read more NO JOKE, I get very hesitant when it comes to people doing my make up because every race has different features. Being Asian, if the artist isn't Asian, I usually get made into Mulan--in the part when she's at the matchmakers, but in a very bad way. Giovanissa was VERY professional and accommodating. You can tell just by talking to her through text that she wants to work with you and help you make your wedding day special. She came early in the morning with Mary, the hairstylist, and got straight to work on the bridesmaids, the moms, the sisters, and the bride. Everyone loved their hair and make up and were getting compliments all day. The make up felt light and was not too dramatic. I personally think it looked perfect on everyone. The bride's mother, who never does make up, loved it and looked fabulous. I would DEFINITELY recommend Giovanissa to all my friends!
