I entered the clinic just after 9:30 AM. I was greeted promptly and professionally. After providing needed insurance information and submitting to general health checks I was immediately taken to an exam room. Within minutes my concern was quickly diagnosed and the Nurse Practitioner and team initiated the needed procedure to resolve. OH What A Relief (from the pain). I homestead down-state and this is the first time I required medical attention while staying at our Prudenville house. I'm very grateful the walk-in was open on Saturday. My sincere thanks to the three lovely and caring ladies that took care of me in my moment of need. It's nice to know there is a quality and caring medical facility in this neighborhood!

I'd consider myself a patient individual, but I've been off my prescribed hormones for a while and unfortunately despite having my prior diagnosis and bloodwork to prove my diagnosis is factual they still don't prescribe the medication for me. The office staff were fine, the doctor is the issue. He bills your insurance you get a couple of calls from them telling you they're working on it. And a month and a half later they still haven't prescribed my medication. The worst part is no appointments are available until January of next year! How do you expect people to be healthy if you cant provide timely appointments? Its insanely horrendous and irresponsible for the only Clinic in the Houghton lake area. I've read other complaints from other Munson Health locations and they are way worse!! Stay away from all Munson Healthcare Clinics!

I once had some testing done here back in 2019, which went fine, and I was billed a small amount…read morethat my insurance didn't cover. I paid that invoice in a timely manner, but I got another bill for the same amount about a month later. I called to let them know it had been paid, but the rep I spoke to had a bad attitude, accused me of lying, and said I had to prove I paid it. I told him I have no way to do that and reminded him that was his job. He retaliated against me by sending my bill for less than $20 to a collection agency. I had to provide them with my bank records to show I had already paid the invoice. I know I took a long time to post this review, but it's been bothering me and I want to warn others of my experience and the immoral actions of this place.

I walked in an unlocked door where it stated they were open til 8pm. I stood there and explained the whole story to the receptionist while she looked at me like she didn't care or was even listening just to say "our provider is not seeing anyone else tonight" in a manner that seemed almost a little too proud to say that to me. It was disturbing. My daughter was stressed and they were supposed to be open for another 35 min. Maybe lock your doors and change your closing time, and not waste people's time. Clearly patients are not their first priority.
