I have used Collins on several projects over a number of years, and all have been very…read moreprofessionally done. I am a very meticulous commercial Handyman (in many areas) and only go by word of mouth for job recommendations. Most contractors don't get to come back for projects out of my range. Collins always gets 1st choice. I have read the (very old) posted review complaints and as a contractor myself, there are initial recommendations made that don't always pan out, because they are based on similar experience, but we don't have X-Ray vision, so sometimes the initial ideas don't work out. It is imperative that as a customer, that we work together with our contractors suppling them with everything needed to make informed approaches to problems. There are construction/installation details that are not often understood by the consumer.

With limited review about the company, we were apprehensive about using the company initially. Collins was willing to listen to our concerns and made appropriate adjustments to move the project foreword. Project was completed on schedule, and passed city inspection. We had a pleasant and positive experience with Collins. Would use H2O expert again.

40 year old furnace died during this last Calgary's week long deep freeze (temps of -25 during the…read moreday). Started looking around for service/costs etc. Some initial confusion by the person who took my first call to them delayed my service by 1 day (thought I just wanted to "talk" to someone vs. my actual "my furnace died, I need a new one ASAP" request.) Once things got started their people kicked into gear! No temporary portable heaters were available, but as soon as some were they delivered them right away; no charge. Initial consultation with their estimator was great and friendly. Open honest pricing and discussions. One price, all in, for everything. On Wed we booked furnace removal/new install for the Friday. They showed early Fri am, and stayed until everything was working. Including extra outside piping, duct work, and a new wall core. Installers were easy to talk to and gave them room enough to do their thing. Took a little longer then they expected, but everything is tidy and clean. Very happy with their service so far. Will update if this changes.
