I'll preface this by saying I'm a house rabbit owner. The old setup stressed me out with the bunnies running around being grabbed and picked up by everyone and poked and prodded by kids when they clearly were trying to hide. The new setup? I was happily surprised to hear the bunnies weren't out for the day due to the weather. They can suffer heatstroke and are sensitive to hot weather (mine are spoiled and live in 73-69° daily). So no bunnies out suffering the heat? That's so awesome! Thanks for caring RSR! I got to love on the Guinea pigs who had room to run, while someone would pick them up and place them in a bin beside me, tell me their name, approx age, and their fave veggie. I fell in love with Lola (I believe that's her name). She's a fiend for lettuce and gets the cutest green mouf. She begs for more and you can't deny her lil bug eyes. The Emu Angel has been there since I last visited (she's 38yrs old!). The goats and sheep are separated from the llamas and you can't step inside with them anymore (honestly this is probably best so kids don't get knocked out or have their clothes chewed). You can still feed and pet all of the animals! I can't complain about the price of admission or the price of feeding them. I personally know the cost of exotic vet care and it's not cheap, throw in the livestock vets and care and you're looking at a pretty penny. I guess a pro tip is to show up on a week day, somewhere around 2, and pace yourself. I spent over an hour there so it wasn't a blink and you miss it type of adventure for me.

This place is so cute, and the train drops you off right there, which makes it super convenient! My almost 3-year-old especially loved the petting zoo. KG Beach Camp was an amazing experience for my kids and exactly what our family needed over the…read moresummer. My kids enjoyed every single day of camp. There was a different adventure each day and such a great variety of activities that they were always excited to tell us about when they got home. I especially wanted to share how much this camp, and particularly the owner, Nicole, meant to our family during a really difficult time. While my son was hospitalized as that week of camp began, Nicole went above and beyond for our family and graciously welcomed my girls for the full week when we needed it most. Having them covered from morning through the afternoon allowed my husband to spend as much time at the hospital as possible, while I knew my girls were safe, cared for, and having a great time. We honestly couldn't believe some of the things they would share with us about each day. They got to go whale watching, paddle board, explore, and have all of these little adventures so close to home. It felt like a mini vacation for them when they didn't even have to travel anywhere to have those experiences. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and made my kids feel safe and comfortable. You could tell they really cared about making sure the kids were having a great experience, not just keeping them busy. My girls came home excited, tired, and full of stories every day. What meant even more to me was that Nicole's kindness didn't end when the week of camp was over. We spoke on the phone afterward, and she checked up on my son and prayed for him. That meant so much to me during such a difficult time. I am especially grateful to Nicole for turning what could have been a very scary and difficult experience for my girls into a week they remember for all the fun things they got to do. They came away with great memories, new friendships, new experiences, and even new skills. That is something I will always be grateful for. I would absolutely recommend KG Beach Camp to other families. It is such a unique way for kids to spend their summer--active, adventurous, outdoors, and experiencing things they might not otherwise get the opportunity to do. We love this camp!…read more My kids and nephew have done this camp every year for several years now. They started in the mini minnow group (youngest group; no getting in the water). After that, they participated in the safari group (whale watching and water activities included). The last group is the h2o group (whale watching; kayaking; sailing; more advanced water activities). At every level, they were happy and excited to go to camp each morning. In fact, they prefer to do multiple weeks of this camp each summer. They love crab hunting, whale watching, sailing, and dock diving best. The counselors are young and energetic. They keep them safe and help reapply sunscreen every day. My kids come home with stories about how the counselors paid special attention to them and how they've made new friends. I love this camp and the people that help make it great every summer. We will continue to come until we age out! Highly recommend.

I acknowledge that I should have not reviewed the contract more carefully before signing it, and I accept responsibility for that. However, I still find this cancellation policy and the way my request has been handled to be unreasonable and unfair, particularly when I clearly communicated that I wanted to terminate my membership. Based on my experience, I strongly encourage prospective members to carefully review all cancellation terms before signing any agreement and to consider other gyms with more straightforward and customer-friendly cancellation policies.
