Scheduled a tow for illegally parked vehicle on private property in CFalls on a Tuesday early…read moreafternoon. Provided description, plate, and marked parking spot number where vehicle was illegally parked since the previous evening. Sometime between when I called Ohs, and when the vehicle was towed, it was moved out of my spot to another spot in the garage, which was a legal spot for another tenant. Ohs showed over 24hrs later and towed the vehicle from the wrong spot on Weds evening to their 1010 Jensen location. I got an earful from the tenant in the spot from which it was towed - despite it being their own fault I was never informed that they'd moved the vehicle. I gave Ohs the benefit of the doubt that they wouldn't tow from any spot other than the one I provided when I called them, and that the driver would give me a call to confirm the exact location if something was 'off'. Neither happened, just the usual shady sh*t that towing companies pull. Contacted Ohs on Thurs morning to tell them they screwed up and towed from the wrong spot, and the best they could do was offer a $25 discount, making the payment $152.00. I have bigger things going on in my life and rather than squabble over $152 and be an ass to the other tenant, I took the high road and paid the bill just to be done with it. Lesson learned ... ALWAYS confirm specifics with the towing company as to time, exact location, etc. otherwise they will take advantage of you and claim no fault when you call them out on it. To Ohs Towing: do better. When your driver is ready to hook up to a tow, make absolutely sure that they contact the requesting party to confirm all the details again, even if it means you miss out on a tow. I'm beyond pi**ed off and you should be embarrassed for sacrificing integrity to chase a few bucks. I'll never use your service again.

If you own a boat--or are even thinking about it--stop what you're doing and go to Captains Marine…read more This place is a total game changer. Captains Marine is so much more than a boat dealership. It's truly a one-stop shop for everything boating--sales, service, transport, storage--you name it. And they make the whole experience effortless. I bought my boat here and couldn't be happier. The sales team was amazing--no pressure, just super knowledgeable folks who really listened to what I needed. They helped me find the perfect boat without making me feel rushed or overwhelmed. But the real magic happened after the sale. The service department is top-tier. Fast, honest, and thorough. Every time I bring my boat in for maintenance or a checkup, I leave with total peace of mind. Their transport and storage team is just as impressive. They handle everything like pros--clean, secure storage and careful, on-time transport to and from the lake. It's been such a relief not having to worry about the logistics. They seriously take the hassle out of boat ownership. Now here's where they really went above and beyond: I was nervous about launching my boat by myself for the first time. One of the guys at Captains Marine didn't just give me tips--he actually came out to the ramp with me, walked me through it step by step, and stayed until I felt confident doing it solo. Who does that these days?! That kind of support is rare, and I'll never forget it. Long story short: Incredible staff Top-notch service Seamless transport & storage Support that goes above and beyond Captains Marine takes care of everything, so all you have to do is enjoy the water. Highly, highly recommend!

I was very disappointed with my experience…read more I purchased a tube of marine epoxy that was clearly old. The contents were thick, gummed up, extremely difficult to squeeze out, and the epoxy never cured, making it completely unusable. When I brought it back, I was told they couldn't accept a return because the package had been opened. That's exactly the problem--there was no way to know the product was defective without opening it and attempting to use it. A defective product can't be identified while it's still sealed. What was most disappointing wasn't just the defective epoxy, but the response. No refund was offered, no exchange was offered, and there was no attempt to stand behind the product they sold. I understand stores need return policies, but those policies shouldn't be used to avoid responsibility for selling defective merchandise. I expected much better customer service from a local marine supplier. I always try to buy Local when I can and this Customer Service sent me to the Internet.

This place is so good it made me forget I'm a grown adult with bills, bad knees, and a questionable credit score. Mrs. Davis deserves her own talk show, she's that kind, that helpful, and somehow makes you feel like you're the most important person on the lake. And Jesse at the dock? The man parks boats smoother than I park a shopping cart. Honestly, if my life ever depends on precision, I'm calling Jesse before I call 911. The boats? Gorgeous. Like, "don't take me home, I live here now" gorgeous. The lake? Basically a giant mood booster served cold with a side of sunshine. And the views? Unreal. If your jaw doesn't drop, you should probably check your pulse. Navigation and info are laid out so clearly, even I couldn't screw it up, and trust me, if there's a wrong turn to make, I'll make it. Not here though. Here, it's smooth sailing (literally). I'll absolutely be back. Probably too often. Probably with way too much sunscreen. And definitely with that same goofy grin that says, "I just found my happy place."
