Once again, Steve to the rescue! Cleaning out my parent's garage and I had a ton of stuff for Steve to take to the dump. Can't ask for a nicer and kinder man to deal with. Best in the business! read more

Hello all, I was so impressed with Steve of Steve's Hauling and Linda his wife/office manager. Linda was very efficient when discussing my disposal needs, she is so on task and timely. Steve is one of the nicest people, he removed my couches very quickly and was very neat and clean when handling the job. I will referral Steve's Hauling to everyone that I know. Thanks Steve and Linda. Christy Moshenko read more

I used Steve a few years back and he did a great job clearing out our side of our house. However, it seems like things have just fallen apart since they changed their name to "Give Us A Hauler." We tried scheduling them last year and asked for a quote to remove some dirt and they never came by after saying they would or ever reached back out. We figured it was a one off while we were in the pandemic so let it go and found someone else. Now we tried to scheduled a pickup for something different and after telling us Monday or Tuesday, it became Thursday. That later became 11 days later for no apparent reason. You would think that a business located one block away would do better for the local community, but it appears that they do not care about how they conduct their business. read more

Had a great experience w/ Steve's Hauling. Linda is as flexible as any human can be w/ scheduling & Steve is a super strong magician. He cheerfully emptied a storage unit full of junk & bad memories in short order. Bottom line: Linda & Steve are a great team that take care of people. We were coming from out of state, they really worked w/ our schedule and made time for us. This trip was made SO much easier and pleasant because of Linda and Steve. THANK YOU! read more

Linda and Steve are awesome. I called around 2pm for an estimate to haul away a full sized mattress and box spring and Linda gave me a quote that was 1/3 of what the competitors were estimating AND she was even able to give me a same day appointment. Linda is extremely kind, helpful and has great customer service. She kept me updated during the whole process and overall was such a pleasure to work with. Steve is the one who does the heavy lifting. He was prompt, quick and extremely friendly. The whole process took 5 minutes. If you have any hauling or junk removal needs, I highly recommend Linda and Steve's company. They are such an awesome team and are so considerate of your time. I will be using their services in the future. read more

Exceeded expectations. (Which were pretty high after reading all these five star reviews. Linda was awesome at scheduling and Steve helped me get rid of a ton of large items from my mom's garage. I had 24 trashbags that he loaded in a jiffy. I'll definitely be use Steve's hauling again. read more

Contacted through text messaging (love that they have this option). Linda was great in setting up the appointment and finding a time that worked for us. We had set up an early appointment time and Steve was soooo respectful of our neighbors (condo) when he came. Steve was amazing and was able to remove a queen sized foam mattress by himself. I would definitely recommend this company. read more

So this is the second time I have used Steve to help me deal with some bulky items I need to get rid of before my move! The whole experience was very painless from scheduling to pick up and as before his price was very reasonable! Steve is very professional from the moment he arrives to the final handshake! I highly recommend his services! read more

We had a pile of trash/junk that needed to be removed from our driveway. We were going to rent a bin and dispose it ourselves, but we are glad we didn't! We spoke to Linda on the phone and she was so helpful, providing us will all the info we needed and a general quote. Their pricing is very fair! The following day Steve gave us 30 min call that he was on his way. Steve was so kind and very professional. My husband and I were amazed how well packed up everything and fit it all in his truck. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE USING THEM AGAIN. we love supporting this husband and wife business. read more

Great Work....Thank You...Hired them to remove a giant patio cover that was extremely well built 15x30...He showed up on time and started to work right away... Smart man he knew right where to cut the beams to relieve pressure while not having it come crashing down.... within the day he finished it cleaned up hauled it all to truck and even ground down the sharp edges on a bracket that couldn't be removed to a smooth edge so we wouldn't cut ourselves .... he thought of everything.... Would I recommend him YES.... Thank you Steve and Linda for the great job.....communication with Linda his wife was easy and I really dont have enough nice things to say about their business.....If you need a reputable company look no farther.... Im so happy I have my patio back and yard feels bigger....it isnt but feels that way. WOOT! read more

Both Linda and Steve are amazing and wonderful; honestly there are just not enough words to describe them and their service! I needed to get three pieces of furniture removed. Scheduling the removal was very easy and simple with Linda's help. I really appreciate her willingness to communicate mostly via text with me since phone calls are more difficult for me to allocate time for given my schedule. When the day came, she notified us about 15min prior to Steve's arrival. Once he saw the setup, he knew exactly how he'd get the items out of the apartment with far ease and in less time than I would've had I done it myself. It was pretty impressive to watch. I highly recommend them for any hauling needs you may need! read more

I highly recommend Steve's Hauling. His wife, Linda, was awesome on the phone with scheduling and gave me an accurate cost estimate. Steve called about 20 minutes before showing up, and came within the window scheduled. Steve hauled away 2 TV's and some other large items for us. One of the TV's was very heavy and upstairs, but Steve got it loaded up and downstairs with no problem (by himself). Steve was polite and got the job done quickly. Definitely call Steve's Hauling if you have large items (including electronics) to be hauled away. read more

After recently moving from a house to a townhouse we knew we had to get rid of some things. So after turning to Yelp I discovered there was going to be a bit of a problem; not necessarily a bad one either. If you were like us then you were probably wondering which of the bountiful 5-star hauling services in the Costa Mesa and surrounding areas we should go with. I began the hunt and everyone seemed to be helpful, but maybe it was Linda's charm that got me. She quoted us a price over the phone and said Steve would be able to stop by that afternoon! I was a bit hesitant at first because the prices Linda quoted us were good; so good that some of the other moving companies couldn't believe it. I decided to trust my instincts as well as my fellow Yelpers and went with Steve. Upon arrival Steve was very polite. Between calling Linda and Steve coming we found another coffee table and an old desk that we didn't need as well. With the two items tacked on he quoted the price just a bit above what Linda quoted us. He loaded the items up quickly and was done before we knew it! I was so astounded by the service that I called Linda after Steve left to say how pleased we were with the service. We talked for a bit and she even gave me some good life advice as I had just graduated college. Needless to say I'd recommend Steve's service to anyone and definitely will be giving them a call back if we need anything else hauled away in the future! read more

I don't normally write reviews but Steve is so phenomenal that I needed to share our experience. Steve goes Above and Beyond unlike any other. He's started by helping me unload my truck after a Home Depot run, then helped me uninstall 2 toilets that I wanted to get rid of. He didn't just remove the junk but cleaned up the mess and even swept up leaves. Steve was super thoughtful of our neighbors and community. I honestly can't recommend him enough. Use Steve, you won't regret it! He's the man! read more

Yelp .. You have lead me down the right path again .. Steve's Hauling got the job done right ! We just moved to our new place and after dealing with flooring guys, the tile cutters and all the "stuff" that came in boxes, crates and pallets we had a plethora of junk. I made the mistake of calling the local rubbish company .... and after filling 2 containers at a high price I decided to get some "yelp" on this situation. I read the rave reviews about Steve's Hauling and I was please to find out the reviews are right on. Steve and his brother came out the same day after finishing another job and moved all my junk in one shot for a great price. Thanks yelp and thank you Steve's Hauling read more

Both Linda and Steve are AMAZING... I found them on Yelp... After reading reviews, I found that lots of companies used a bait and switch with their pricing... I decided to ask about a mattress and box spring removal... and most places kept me on the phone asking many questions before telling me how much it was... Linda gave me a price right away and it was half the price everyone else quoted me.. I decided to go with them, and I AM SO HAPPY I DID... He has a very big truck and works very hard.. he did more than I expected.. and he charged much less than I would've had to pay had I chosen anyone else... I called on a Tuesday... needed work done on a Saturday.. I had no problem booking them for Saturday. If you want someone honest and hardworking, I HIGHLY recommend STEVE'S HAULING... You will not regret it THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU AGAIN, LINDA AND STEVE! read more

I have used Steve a few times and every time has been an exceptionally great experience. Steve and Linda are pleasant, helpful and very accommodating. I highly recommend and will continue to use them in the future. read more

The reviews are dead on. Steve's Hauling is the best around! He came out the very next day (on a Sunday, no less), was super friendly, and very professional. He's extremely thorough - but also cautious if he sees something that doesn't look like "junk", which is great cuz once it's gone, it's gone. If you need any help having things hauled off, look no further, and call this guy! read more

We needed someone to haul some junk (furniture, leaves, household items, misc trash, etc) when we were cleaning out our Grandma's house after she moved to assisted living. It was almost 40 years worth of stuff and we had no idea what to do with it. When researching big name companies like 1800gotjunk and college hunks hauling junk, the reviews did not seem good. Big name brand companies like this seemed to say one thing, then do another, over charge, and just not be pleasant to work with. So when I decided to check Yelp for hauling in the OC I saw how many great reviews there were for Steve's Hauling...especially just for how nice he and his wife were. ALL THE REVIEWS ARE TRUE! It is a business that has a neighborly/friendly feel. They are super personable, and kind. Seriously Steve is so hard working and so sweet! He hauled all the junk quickly...and with a constant smile and constantly saying "no problem!" He offered help with things we weren't even asking him to do (gave us free moving boxes, swept up the garage and patio after he moved all the junk into his truck, helped us move some boxes to our truck, and helped us clean out old wood chips from our patio!) He even lent us a bunk of his tools and shovels, etc when he was there because we were doing work around the house and needed stuff like that. I cannot say enough good things about him and the work he did. And he was very reasonable. Totally worth all the money I spent...and more! read more

I hired Steve's Hauling based on their Yelp reviews, and I can say that their five star rating is fully deserved. Linda was very helpful explaining how they worked and she was easily able to accommodate my schedule. She also kept me informed of Steve's expected arrival time on the day. When Steve arrived he was close to the start of the thirty minute arrival window Linda had given me which was great. He was super personable and went out of his way to be helpful and polite. He scoped out the job before it started to make sure he removed everything in the most efficient order. He was also very respectful of my home. The job was a small one and Steve got everything done in about thirty minutes. At the end of the process Steve quoted me a final price lower that what Linda had quoted me (she did let me know that her quote was a best guess based on my description of the job over the phone). The price was very reasonable and I was happy to pay it with a little extra for Steve on top. If you're looking for someone to haul away unwanted furniture I would highly recommend Steve's Hauling. It's a real pleasure to give one's business to a couple making a living by providing a good quality service for a fair price. read more

If I could I would give this place all the stars in the world! I spoke with Linda today to get a mattress removed from my apartment due to disgusting bed bugs, she was so very helpful and the sweetest person ever we literally talked on the phone for like 15 minutes, love her! She got Steve to our apartment same day! And the price is right, Steve was very fast and did it all by himself, he was very nice, loved these two and you can definitely tell they are very genuine people! Thank you Steve & Linda! I will definitely recommend you! -Krystle, Eric & Kennedy read more

Steve and Linda are some of the nicest most helpful people. Prompt, reliable, and reasonable. Will definitely use them again.

Steve is so great! I needed a large couch dismantled and removed from an upstairs bedroom to make room for a nursery. Not only did he and Linda accommodate me by fitting me into their schedule for an earlier date, but they communicated perfectly with me (regarding time and availability) and when Steve and his assistant Joe arrived, they were prompt, courteous, friendly, and got the job done in no time! I would recommend them to anyone! read more

I hired Steve to remove all the junk behind my house, next to my trash cans, some heavy planters (some with plants that can really puncture your skin) area rugs and a large chair in my living room. Initially I called and spoke to his wife, Linda, who was very accommodating, working within MY schedule. We worked out a time and Steve came by yesterday. I showed him what I wanted gone and then he gave me a quote. It was slightly under what I was expecting, so he went to work. Steve was wonderful! In addition to removing everything, several times he asked me if there were any more items. And he had already given me a quote. I will be using Steve again, once I decide what I want to keep and want to get rid of in my side garage. Definitely a" 5 star" business! And we are helping a local, family business! read more

Steve and Linda were amazing to work with. They helped fit us in their schedule at the last minute. I could not have been more happy to have my old furniture out of the way so my family could enjoy the new. read more

Steve and Linda are about as nice, honest and good as it gets! Steve was at my home right on time, calling a half hour early to confirm he was on his way. Linda, his wife was a treat to work with on the phone and gave a very fair and competitive estimate. Steve remove my old, GIANT projection TV and a few other items and charged me the low end of the phone estimate given by Linda. Steve was very careful about every aspect on the removal of my junk and made sure there was not mess left behind. A total professional and super friendly! Extremely friendly, communicative, professional and punctual. Linda was able to squeeze us in within 48 hours of my call. I don't think there's a job to big or too small for these guys. I must also mention they are competitively priced, but in my opinion you won't find this level of customer service at their price . I will always go with Steve's Hauling from this point on. My gosh do Linda and Steve make a great team. Love, love, love local businesses, especially when owned by such nice people! read more

Steve's Hauling deserves 6 stars! What a great company. I called this company based on the Yelp reviews and I could not have been more happy. They are a local Costa Mesa company which gave me great pleasure in supporting my own community. I had quite a bit of junk on the side of my house, a little bit of everything. I called late in the afternoon and we had Steve here by the next day. He was prompt, so courteous and as nice as can be. The pricing was extremely fair. My favorite is that they took the time to really look at the photos and give me an accurate price. I will use this service again and again! read more

Steve and Linda are absolutely wonderful to work with. Starting with Linda who was polite, friendly and made the whole process very easy. Steve was just as pleasant and friendly. He was very concerned about making sure to not get any debris inside my home as he hauled my old dirty free standing propane fire pit out through the family room and entry way. He took extra time to wrap up the fire pit in plastic wrap just to make sure! And their prices can't be beat! I would recommend Steve's Hauling in a heartbeat! read more

Steve was recommended on Nextdoor, Yelp, and I got a good feeling from talking to Linda. She scheduled Steve to come out to give me an estimate...I had a LOT of junk that needed to be taken away and items I couldn't even identify buried in the leaves...and I was on a very tight budget. Steve gave me a fair and reasonable price -- when they showed up to do the job, it ended up being more than originally estimated and we added a few more things from inside the house. The guys just kept loading. When everything was done, Steve very nicely said that the estimate he'd given me was based on X and it turned out to be Y...which should have been quite an increase in the cost, but he didn't ask for Y, he simply asked if it would be okay to charge me an extra $50. I said, gratefully, Yes. When I paid the bill, I told Linda to increase it a little more because I thought it was only fair. I highly recommend this business and these folks. read more

Steve was prompt, straightforward, courteous, and helpful. Highly recommend his services.

Steve and Linda were amazing. Friendly, understanding, professional and just really, really nice. We were in a bind and Steve made short work of a big problem with grace and a smile. Let's keep their perfect 5 star rating going!! Why? Because they TRULY, honestly, DESERVE every star!! Cannot say enough good things about hiring Steve & Linda for junk removal needs! Trust us Yelpers! You will not be disappointed with Steve's ease of scheduling, prompt arrival, thorough & quick job, above & beyond customer service, super affordable pricing & their honest HARD WORK. Linda was an absolute delight to talk to on the phone. I was already stressed out about moving, & just hearing her reassure me that Steve will have no problem taking the GIANT pile of furniture, toys, boxes, carpets, shelves... put my mind at ease. Add the VERY reasonable quote & next day appointment time (with 4 days left to move out of my 4bedroom home) she had me confident that I would have no problem getting my deposit back with all the junk gone from the side of the house. Steve himself called me that evening to make sure we had a good time to meet up. When I told him I may need one more day to have some more junk ready for him, he very pleasantly told me.. "no problem!!" & we set a meeting for a day after the actual day I asked for. The day of service, he called me 15minutes prior to arriving to make sure it was a go. Upon arriving, Steve has SO courteous & SO helpful.. he pulled in very carefully & confirmed if it was ok to park where he was. He went over all the items I needed gone with me, making sure that some of the items off to the side were not part of the junk piles. He gave me an instant quote within 3 minutes which was even less than what Linda quoted me & I very gratefully accepted without a problem. Him & his partner went straight to work & told me If there was anything else I wanted to add, just let him know & he would have no problem hauling it. (Which I took advantage of & got rid of EVERYTHING in one shot so I didn't have to worry about moving out anymore- lamps, boxes, dog cage, tables) All the while with a smile & genuine kindness to help.. he REALLY Goes out of his way to make sure the job is done correctly. The garage was COMPLETELY cleared out in about 15mins & he even swept it up to make it immaculate. There was nothing left behind when Steve was done.. & could NOT be happier with his service. I am so sooo glad I found Linda & Steve's service.. I cannot recommend it enough. I don't ever want to move again, but I 110% for SURE will call him again for ANY junk removal needs!! Thank you so much Linda & Steve!! I'm at the new place finally resting without worry thanks to you guys!!! God bless!! read more
