Everything for the bath is furnished including towels, shampoo, "no tears" face shampoo, brushes, blow dryer and nice bathing sink. They smelled fresh but not perfumed I appreciate this because one has asthma. 2) my nervous dog was very calm and both were very happy and relaxed. I feel like they felt at ease and cared for. That's a win win! Be sure to bring cash or check because they don't accept credit cards. Parking right in front is easy and there is a strip of grassy area between parking and road where they can relieve themselves before and after their spa day.

I took down the phone number and gave them a call.  I arranged to have my neighbors sweet little Shih Tzu (Miss Chip) to have a mobile bath and nail session. Sandy (my neighbor) had already was thinking about a bath and nail trim in between her regular front with her usual stylist :-)  We made an appointment over the phone, gave all the deets and the groomer (Meg) was here :15 minutes early. She came in, introduced herself to all of us, Chip especially and headed off to her trailer outside. BTW she has a generator on her mobile unit so no electrical or water hookup is necessary, just a place to park.  In short order she returned with a fluffy, happy, and excited Miss Chip and she looked and smelled wonderful, complete with adorable ribbons in her hair. Awwww They are a locally owned and operated business that's home based out of Foley. They accept all methods of payment including checks. The pictures that were previously posted YEARS ago are very old. This place is an absolute DUMP. Just walking up before walking in, I could smell a combination of urine, feces, cigarette butts and trash. Don't take my word for it, just drive by or go up and smell it yourself. Seriously!! When you walk in it smells like urine as well, it's dark (probably to hide the fact that it hasn't been cleaned in years but people have different understandings of 'clean'). Notice how there's no pictures of the back and side (I'll include some) it's overgrown and smells like (putting it nicely...) "crap". The "owner/groomer" looks like... well, just go by and make your own assessment. I won't leave my opinion here; just the property and smell say enough. I'm actually surprised the City of Fairhope allows this person to stay in business. I know this sounds harsh and like I'm disgruntled. I'm not (except maybe with the City for allowing this to continue). I went to bring my furry family member there and after looking around the front and exterior and then walking inside and smelling... I walked out and cancelled. Doing a quick public records search of the address (403 Grand Ave, please do the same) you can immediately see that this person leases this property from an owner that's out of state and the business taxes haven't even been paid since 2019. Does that sound reputable to anyone? (Rhetorical). Anyway, personally I was more worried about my puppy catching and leaving with something bad! Everything I have written is true. Go by, look it up and verify yourself... PLEASE! Take a look the current pics as well. There are lots of other places around. Maybe try "Dirty Hairy's" in Daphne in 98. I have found them to do a great job and the place is very clean.
