Absolutely terrible and nasty! I will include pictures. If you love your pet then PLEASE demonstrate that by never taking your furry loved one here. The pictures that were previously posted YEARS ago are very old. This place is an absolute DUMP. Just walking up before walking in, I could smell a combination of urine, feces, cigarette butts and trash. Don't take my word for it, just drive by or go up and smell it yourself. Seriously!! When you walk in it smells like urine as well, it's dark (probably to hide the fact that it hasn't been cleaned in years but people have different understandings of 'clean'). Notice how there's no pictures of the back and side (I'll include some) it's overgrown and smells like (putting it nicely...) "crap". The "owner/groomer" looks like... well, just go by and make your own assessment. I won't leave my opinion here; just the property and smell say enough. I'm actually surprised the City of Fairhope allows this person to stay in business. I know this sounds harsh and like I'm disgruntled. I'm not (except maybe with the City for allowing this to continue). I went to bring my furry family member there and after looking around the front and exterior and then walking inside and smelling... I walked out and cancelled. Doing a quick public records search of the address (403 Grand Ave, please do the same) you can immediately see that this person leases this property from an owner that's out of state and the business taxes haven't even been paid since 2019. Does that sound reputable to anyone? (Rhetorical). Anyway, personally I was more worried about my puppy catching and leaving with something bad! Everything I have written is true. Go by, look it up and verify yourself... PLEASE! Take a look the current pics as well. There are lots of other places around. Maybe try "Dirty Hairy's" in Daphne in 98. I have found them to do a great job and the place is very clean. read more

I've used this groomer before, and never really had a problem. Although, my most recent visit was especially unpleasant. Several hours after our appointment I went in to check on my pup. As soon as I opened the door, the owner became highly irritated, raised his voice, and verbally attacked me. I was in complete shock.. at time of pickup, he again chastised me for coming in early. He did apologize for loosing his temper, but after this experience I won't be returning. read more

The groomer was fine, but the owner.... the minute I walked in to check and see if my dog was ready he began to verbally attack me. This was my first visit to this particular groomer so I didn't know that checking on your dog was frowned upon. I tried to explain that to the owner but he continued to yell at me and would not even allow the groomer to complete the job.He called me a few choice names that I won't repeat , all I know is if he will talk to a first time client that way, imagine what he does to your pets when you are not around. Also imagine how he treats his employees. If you are considering this location as a groomer you might want to have second thoughts, the owner is a nut!! read more

ZERO STARS. I've been taking my mini Schnauzer to Michael for her entire 13 year life. He was the BEST when he was working at Pet Haven, but the last few years, he has REALLY dropped down on quality and service. Now he is a COMPLETE LIAR. My dog was there for SIX HOURS and when I called to check if she was ready, he tells me she had diarrhea ALL DAY so she wasn't ready. I just went and got her and asked for a refund on my PREPAYMENT. She was FINE when I took her and NO SIGN of diarrhea since I picked her up. BUT now I see a very red, sore place on the top of her head and it's bald right there. I don't know what that SOB BE did to my dog. DON'T GO TO CLIPPERS. read more

6 /24/2022 I took my little 5 pound chihuahua to clippers to get him bathed & nails clipped. they call just as we were pulling in & said they were closing early. so I asked how long it will take to bathe him. The lady said they had 3 ahead of him & it would be 3 or hours. so I told them to just clip his nails & I would bring him back at another time. the man came out to do the nails looking like he could use a bath himself. He started grinding the nail s on my little peanut, I was watching as he was working on his front paw. Peanut yelled & the man screamed SHUT UP YOU WILL GIVE ME A GD HEART ATTACK. the nexk time he yelled the screamed shutup & told the lady to hold him & he grabbed his back leg & started to pull it forward. that is hen I told him quite & bring me the dog. He said I am not hurting him. I said fine just give him to me.the man started yelling & I told him, you dont understand that he was very mistreated before we got him . the man said I dont believe that for a minute. I said I didnt care if he did or not I just want my dog & I will pay you for what you did & he yelled I dont want your money. I got peanut thanked him instead of decking him & left. For years we were afraid to have our pug shaved and then we brought him to clippers. Michael does such a great job that the pug loves to go back everytime. (Normally he doesn't want to do anything!) The shedding and amount of hair around the house has gone down so much. So glad we found this place! read more

We have been taking our Mini-Aussie to Clippers for a couple of years. We have always been happy with the work they do on her. Our pup is always eager to go for a visit! Great job and wonderful people! read more

Awful experience. The owner was rude and he lied right to my face. I brought my four dogs in at 8:30 am. My appt. was originally scheduled for tomorrow, however, they had a cancellation and asked if I could bring them in today. When I dropped them off I asked what time they might be finished. The receptionist, Ginger, told me sometime after noon. After not hearing from them, I called at 3pm, and Ginger told me that they would be ready by 4:00 pm. I overheard the owner, Michael, say "tell her I am finishing them up." I arrived at 4:40 pm to pick them up and he had not even started on two of my dogs. I questioned why Ginger told me 4:00 pm and why Michael had said to tell me that he was finishing them up, when in fact, he hadn't even started. When I asked about this, Michael began yelling at me, saying that grooming isn't about speed. I reminded him that my dogs had been with him since 8:30 this morning and it is now 4:40 pm. He was verbally abusive, I mean he was really screaming profanities at me. He told me to shut up. I couldn't believe it. He was unprofessional, he lied, and I will never take my dogs back there again. The most upsetting thing was when I brought them home, they all spent a solid 5 minutes drinking water. They had been in cages for over 8 hours with no water. If you love your dogs, please don't take them to Clippers. read more

Great job with my yorkie...they even advised they like to keep the dogs longer on the first appt to bond:)
