Mexican pizza

They must've changed management because our service was great. The food was pretty good too. They had fitting music giving it that Venice, Italy vibe. Very affordable.

He sang karaoke with us and treated us great the food was good but unfortunately I did not take a picture of my shrimp Diablo, but it was really good but extremely spicy. My wife had the steak and baked potatoes as you can see in the picture the baked potatoes are different from what we're used to in America but it was pretty good all in all this restaurant is good and convenient, especially if you're staying at the La Paloma the server Israel has great energy and he also recommended a cab service and places to go shopping and eat for our trip for that were thankful and we really enjoyed this place. It's just a small little restaurant on the property, but the food is great. Cooks are good. Service is great.

The service was excellent, I feel like they treated us quite special and it felt like a hometown spot where our friends work. The food was really good! We had the shrimp cocktail, which ended up being shrimp, ceviche, sliced avocados on top chips and crackers, and it was citrusy, very lightly spiced (my partner is a slice wimp!), and super fresh. We Paired that with the shrimp pasta, and that was surprisingly delicious as well. The pasta was cooked a bit al dente, which is how we like it, lots of shrimp, with a really nice marinara sauce. The marinara sauce would not heavy, so it complemented the shrimp in the pasta really well. For Beverages, Daniel made me a special margarita. I don't do tequila very well, so he made a strawberry margarita, light on the tequila, heavy on the grand mariner. It had a little Tajin on the rim, a sliced orange and it was refreshing and delicious. The prices are hotel expensive though. So we ended up spending $50. I do remember Mexico being a place where you can get inexpensive food, but I guess not here. I mean, we got one appetizer one meal and two beverages. But we would come here again, because we had a great time!

It might sound odd to say you're going to Mexico for authentic Italian food, but this is the place. Everything is delicious, fresh, and full of love. We always start with the Caprese salad. Then we share a pizza (always thin, crispy, and flavorful) and sometimes a pasta dish. A glass of wine completes the meal and sets the perfect tone for the rest of the drive. What really makes Ollie's special is the heart behind it all. The owner named the place after his beloved dog, Ollie. When Ollie passed away, he got another dog and gave it the same name. so "Ollie" has always been there, welcoming us back each time like an old friend. Also, I usually have a thing about bathrooms (I'm picky!), but this one is super clean , which I really appreciate. Friendly service, great food, and a story that sticks with you. Ollie's is a Rosarito must. As a sidenote : this place is only open in the late afternoons and evenings. It's walking distance from Las Gaviotas , which I know is a very popular place for Americans to visit.
