Service is great . I have eaten at restaurant few times. I ordered lasagna and they started with salad and fresh bread with sauce all good . The main dish which is described on menu as having ricotta cheese in the lasagna turned out to not have any just sauce n pasta n cheese. I asked the waiter in spanish if they normally include it because it is in the description and in most lasagna recipes he said he was not sure i ate the whole dish never saw any or tasted any. like i mentioned first time ordering pasta at this restaurant. i was not the cheapest item on menu at 350 pesos . OMG . . . I haven't had Italian this good in years. The bread sticks melt in your mouth. They are served warm, you can see the hot steam burst from the bread the moment you break it. The pasta dishes are robust with flavor. The perfect amount of spices. We had the Fettuccini Pesto and the bolognese. The pizza is delicious. We ordered the New York style pizza. The service was amazing. The hostess and the server made us feel welcome and when we asked for refills they commented "of course! With pleasure!" This is my second time coming here since my first experience was great but I won't be coming back after today. I ordered the Bucatini Alfredo. Well when I saw the waiter mixing it in the cheese bowl I could see some sort of meat and other ingredients in it that I was not aware of. I asked him what kind of pasta is that because it's obviously not what I ordered. I hate confrontation but this isn't what I ordered. I showed him the menu again and it just says Alfredo sauce , nothing else. He tried to gaslight me and was like this is how we make our Alfredo, it's different and I'm like ok but I wasn't aware of any of these ingredients . And I'm like that's weird because I had it the normal way last time. He comes back and he's like I talked to my manager and we can give you a SMALL side of pasta with just Alfredo sauce but we have to charge you for the one we made. Which I was pissed about because it's not what I ordered. He comes back again and he's like I'm so sorry you are right it doesn't say what is included in the pasta , it just says Alfredo sauce, let me go get you a new pasta with just sauce. Tell me why he brings back out the same plate, it looks like the same crap and he probably told the chef to take out the meat and try to take out the other things that was in there because I still found pieces of what was previously in there. And it came out way too fast so I knew they were just messing with me at this point, I could see them laughing. The waiter kept saying my apologies I didn't realize the menu didn't say what was in the sauce but he was full of bs because he knows damn well he brought out the same thing. It was not just plain Alfredo like he said they would make. So cheap and fishy. He ended up charging me for the meal that was not eaten after he said he would charge us for just a regular Alfredo which is cheaper since we didn't use the cheese bowl. I'm so disappointed. There pizza is good but after this experience, my husband and I won't be coming back. So sad that they don't put there customers first. Especially when they are in the wrong! Took my food to go since they made me pay even though he saw I didn't touch it. I ended up giving it to a homeless lady so I'm glad she could enjoy it read more

The pizza and salad were good so no complaints there. The issues I had were do to very loud kids running around, screaming crying and literally playing a kazoo. headed to Valle de Guadalupe and decided we needed a breakfast break in Rosarito. Our favorite eating spot Tacos El Yaqui was closed for the winter holiday season. I've been wanting to stop at Betuccinis...so this was the time. It was breakfast time, so unfortunately we didn't get to try any of their salads or pizzas...the man was happy. Like most men, he loves breakfast. easy, plentiful and free parking restaurant space was amazing! it was like being outdoors but we were indoors...check it out...you'll know what i'm saying. kind like being on Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland...but not. This restaurant was a short walk from where we were staying and recommended to us, so we decided to try it. We had the seafood fettuccini and shrimp scampi, both were good and served with a fresh side salad, but we were very intrigued to see a group being served a flambé pasta dish tableside. We asked about it and were told that it was Bucatini all Amatriciana. Of course, we had to return another night to try it. It's a delicious and unique dining experience that I have never seen in any Italian restaurant in the states. Friendly servers. Most diners were having pizza, so it must be good. We've seen the sign for Betuccini's for years and always said we needed to stop in. It's always packed and has great reviews. So we finally visited and are so happy we did. It is so cute inside. Walking inside you feel like you've stepped back in time. The restaurant is filled with black and white photos. It's dimly lit and romantic. The service is so friendly. The food was delicious. It was a short walk from where we're staying. It's also a short walk to the beach. You can take a pizza to go, head to the beach and watch the sunset. I would recommend a dine in experience at least once. It's so cute inside and something special for sure. read more

The prices of wine are Double the amount as it was a few months ago, and more expensive than in any of the other Restaurants.

Initial service was solid. Ordered 3 Pizzas, wakted over an hour for only 2 pizzas to be brought to the table; waiter said the cook dropped one. Out of the 2 that were brought out, one was badly burt. I told the waiter if he wanted to replace it for us or if he just wanted to heavily discount it as the crust was uneatable. He said he would just charge it as a personal pizza. 40mins later the last pizza comes out, VERY sloppily made (it was margarita style) with HUGE tomato pieces, and i mean Huge like a literal third of a tomato... natually the tomato released alot of water for a soggy pizza... whatever... We had also ordered a pizza to go. Took another 40mins to make, was badly burnt. Told the water. This pizza is done in like 10 mins. They brought out the same pizza and just cut off the burt edges, but the pizza was still burnt from the bottom. To top it off i was charged for 2 extra beers and i was charged for all 4 pizzas AND a personal pizza... it was obviously done on purpose. The waiter was clearly trying to overcharge us. Non burnt pizza was barely average (for Mexico), service was okay until the repeated blunders and became trash after the attempted MULTIPLE frauds. The ambience is nice. And i think if you're a local this might be the best Italian food you can get, I would NOT reccommend this place if your from the States or Europe-- it will not meet your expectations at all. read more

Betuccinis is such an awesome restaurant nestled in a little private lot next to a few other establishments that look almost as enticing. Most folks wouldn't think of Italian food being that desirable south of the border and well.....they couldn't be more wrong. THE best Italian food I've had in my life has been south of the border, and that's even AFTER visiting Italy on numerous occasions. That's not to say I won't find it, but in the meantime, the Italian food in Mexico does not disappoint. I ordered the steak milanese with fresh vegetables and a serving of some buttered and garlic noodles. The milanese had an AMAZING mushroom wine sauce drizzled over the top that didn't survive my left over bread. The ambience here is awesome. Almost like an old world restaurant mixed with some pirate/Mexican influence. This is an amazing spot to bring a date or some family when visiting. They have a full bar as well as some amazing wines locally sourced from the nearby Valle De Guadalupe. If you're looking for a sit down restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of Rosarito, this is the place to go. read more

Finally stopped by for dinner. The shrimp scampi was just great. We shared the dish and it was planty for us. I added a salad to be sure. The salad may have to much dressing for most people so ask for dressing on the side. The table comes with bread slices and marinara sauce. The bread was fresh, yum. In Italy the bread is like three day old bread, yuk. The margaritas were pretty sweet but okay. I would recommend this place for an enjoyable dinner. The menu has something for everyone. Yesterday I went to eat, the waiters were very friendly but the food was super disgusting, the spaghetti, the tomato sauce tasted like a can and had no flavor, the bread they put at the beginning tasted like it had mog, the lasagna had no flavor and was cold, some bugs came out in the cafe and some cockroaches were seen near the kitchen, and in the bathrooms they didn't have water to take to the bathroom and to wash your hands. Welll... we walked in the the place had a great ambience to it and staff were friendly. We were told to sit wherever we wanted so we made our way to the back of the restaurant. Was somewhat dark but tables were lit up! I ordered the cheese bread to start and as we proceeded to eat, I noticed my wife looking at something that was behind me. As I turned to the left to see what it was. A huge fucking RAT runs right across the top of the seats and into a hole between the booth and the wall. Needless to say, I dropped the bread that I was holding and we immediately proceeded towards the exit. The waiter asked what was wrong and I told him we were leaving they have fucking RATS. I insisted to pay for the soda that we started to drink and he said it was no charge. The funny thing is another waiter asked if we wanted another table and gave me the impression he knew there was rats in the backside of the restaurant. WTF!!!! No... First of all this restaurant was super cute & the service was on point! Classic Italian feels, music was giving me France vibes and I love how the light the table with a candle. Tables were clean and spaced apart well. They started us off right with some bomb garlic bread & sauce... literallly mouth watering thinking about it! Total my table was 5 people and we shared a Cesar salad, pizza and this bomb bomb bomb incredible pasta. Cesar salad was crispy and refreshing, simple and delicious. Pizza was full of flavors, the crust was cooked perfectly and I would definitely eat it again. The PASTA omg the pasta was the highlight of the food for sure. We got the Bucatini which was sautéd in vodka, not to mention they literally had a show for us. When they bring out the pasta they had this incredible fire show to melt the cheese into the pasta which they mixed in front of us which was very entertaining. The taste of it was next level. Can't forget about the sangriaaaaaa! So tasty!!!!! We had some sangria followed by some red wine and overall we left feeling full and kinda drunk lol drunk off amazing flavors and I'm craving the sangria just reminiscing about it. My husband and I have been coming down to Mexico for over 10 years. I can't believe this is first time we found this restaurant. First of all the ambience was amazing. Very authentic. Handmade pizza, homemade pasta, and delicious fresh seafood tossed with the pasta. We sampled a little bit of everything. Just as an FYI, There are no gluten-free options. Who would have known I would find an amazing Italian restaurant in Mexico. We had an amazing time here, from the service to the food absolutely amazing. We ordered a mushroom sauce appetizer, the metropolitana pizza, Pollo a piccata, spaguetti bolognese and linguine al frutti al mare. Everything was very tasty and delicious.
