I asked her to please make some fresh ones, she wasn't happy but she made it. I saw how much coffee she put in there and I knew it's going to be very weak. I paid for my coffee and went to my car and drove off. Few minutes later, I took a sip and I realized this is a very weak almost like water. Every 7/11 I go to, they have coffee all through out the day. This was unacceptable to the 7/11 standards! I hope this review finds the owner and they do something about it.

This is a full on grocery store. Inside they have a restaurant which is really like three restaurants combined. They have a wine and beer center they have a butcher shop. They also have all the sections of a grocery store that you might see such as produce dry goods, etc.. The staff was very nice and friendly, too. I even had one or two of them asked me if I wanted any assistance with anything and when even asked if I wanted him to take any of the pictures so that I could be in them. Most of the staff seem to be on the younger side probably students in the nearby town. I bought some corn nuts and a root beer and filled up with gasoline And then I was on my way. It was an unexpected yet pleasant stop.

I'd stopped in once for beer and knew it was pricey, but locally owned convenience stores are typically pricey. And I know the rent here must be hefty, so... I get it. It's a nice little store - well stocked with impressive variety. Mind you, they don't have much in the way of meals to-go, but that wasn't too surprising. I think they're catering to locals by having an excellent wine selection, a respectable beer selection, and a good to very good selection of general food groceries. The store was very clean. After deciding that a pre-packaged, mass-produced sandwich sounded awful, I pieced together a fun on-the-road meal of crackers and cheese. They had 5 varieties of Triscuits, which was a pleasant surprise, and I settled on the smoked gouda. Good choice - rich, flavorful, salty. Instead of a block of cheese, I bought two cheese sticks (I know, I know) to eat with my Triscuits. It actually made for a yummy and healthy on-the-fly meal. The lady running the store had the air of being the owner, but I'm not sure. She was on the phone the whole time, speaking what turned out to be German. She did pause long enough to talk to me when I was ready to check out, but she didn't acknowledge me otherwise the entire time I was there. And I was there longer than planned since Yelp was in serious need of some pics of this place... So minus one star for lack of customer service. When you pay a notable premium for a locally owned, high-end food mart like this, it'd be nice to be acknowledged. $5 for the Triscuits and cheese sticks were $1 each. $7 for a very quick, healthy meal with delicious Triscuits left over. Pricey? Very. But that wasn't surprising. A well-stocked mini-grocery store in a high-rent area of town is there for convenience, and you pay for convenience. Period. But at least it comes with selection and covers a lot of bases in a small space.

So, I thought id give the other end of the stick,the yin of his yang, and a little fame. These guys that have been around for decades with little to no change are going going gone. I think probably it would be open 24.7 on this corner if they made a killer hamburger, dont you? The bait was alive and ready. A 30 gallon aquarium of minnows! Their service is always helpful and friendly and their food items are always fresh. The location by our house just got a new soda machine which I am probably way too excited about lol Sometimes I have issues with my ATM card working with their gas pumps, but that is easily solved when I use Apple Pay. If you haven't tried to take QT before definitely should. Way better than a 7/11 or RT IMO.

The lines can look long at peak times, but they are adequately staffed, and cashiers often manage two registers each to speed customers through. Moreover, they are friendly and courteous! The other attraction of QT is their competitive gas prices and a reasonably broad selection of snacks and drinks for its size. The rest of the station is acceptable, i.e., not great but not bad. It is adequately clean, hot food is okay, prices are typically marked up as a convenience store. These mediocre characteristics plus a Coke Zero soda dispenser that is often out of order cause this station to fall short of the highest score. This relatively new QT is preferable to the aging Love's and Flying J nearby.
