Words giordanos ever. Took over an hour for delivery, and the dough in center of pizza was gone. Literally nonexistent. It was just cheese and sauce and pepperoni in the middle. Pizza was not cooked all the way and not cut, tasted horrible and I love Giordanos I eat at the one at Dempster all the time. The lady also didn't sound happy when I asked for a side of giardiniera after she ran the credit card which I legit forgot to ask for before she took my card I know how much their precious 50 cents giardiniera is worth to them can't lose out on that 50 cents! read more

I ordered The Special Deep Dish pizza medium size. This should have been re-named The Onion Pizza! There had to be 10 times more onion on this pizza than any other ingredient. I was told this was THE place to come for authentic Chicago stuffed pizza and they were right! We ordered for delivery to our hotel; delivery wait was an hour and a half on a Saturday night which, granted was long but it was the perfect amount of time to take the kids for a dip in the hotel pool, get back to our room and showered, just in time for dinner to arrive! Horrible service. I ordered over the phone for pick up and when I came they told me I have to wait few minutes. I patiently waited and finally after 15 minutes of waiting I realize that they called some other customer who took my order. The other customer had to came back and return MY pizza! I was recently in the area visiting family when my sister recommended we eat at Giordano's (Glenview location). I'll start by saying this; I rarely review restaurants on the staff and atmosphere. Personally, I rarely even take note of such things unless it really stands out and for the most part everywhere I go is pretty much the same experience across the board with the variable being different levels of fabricated professionalism.. emphasis on "fabricated". However, I am so glad we ended up eating at Giordano's. The pizza was.. amazing. Truly delicious and easily now in my top 3 "pizzas of all time"..and it actually fills you up! We ended up taking home left overs, it felt well worth what we paid for it. My sister and I were taken care of by the manager, one of the most genuinely caring and nice strangers I've ever had the pleasure of coming across. She came to check on us during the meal & held a gut busting conversation. Her professionalism was dare I say unparalleled, offering many commodities and making sure we were having a great experience without being intrusive. (Not to mention she's fine as hell, seriously, the 8th wonder of the world is right here in Glenview. To all the guys reading this; you're welcome. Needless to say I'll be dining at Giordano's every time I visit my family) The atmosphere was well deserving too! It's a smaller location but it does have tables inside and outside. We sat inside against the wall ~ I must point out that both walls are giant windows that let in a lot of sunlight which I loved. If I remember correctly they also have a TV mounted to the wall if you're into watching the game. Bad experience. We placed our order online and then called to confirm they received it. When I arrived to pick it up, they "explained" that they only just received the order (even though they reviewed the order by phone) and it would be 15 more minutes. Do you think they offered me a seat? Nope - though it would have been nice. We had confirmed by phone our instructions that we wanted the pizza "pie sliced". They didn't do that either. At this point the "manager" said he wouldn't charge me for my order. But he couldn't give me any document indicating this - I had to trust him. The food isn't bad, but the service is a joke. I love Giordano's pizza and recently ordered a carry out sausage deep dish pizza from this location. It took about the right amount of time and we took it home to eat. it was delicious and amazing. They are one of my favorite Chicago style pizza place with their own unique style of pizza. I have been enjoying them for years. I never go with anything other than the deep dish pizza so I can't comment on their other food items. I will definitely return their again since this is the closest one to my house. It also tasted pretty good the following day when I reheated my leftovers. read more

I ordered a pizza online an hour in advance. When I arrived, the uninterested cashier took my name and began to look for my order. When she couldn't find it, she asked if I wanted to go ahead and pay before she looked for it. I said, "sure," and paid for my order. she then disappeared into the back while I waited. Another cashier came to the front to help her look for my order and asked the first cashier what my order number was. She said three different numbers before the second, frustrated cashier found it herself. She then realized that she had given away my order to another customer because the first cashier had previously told her another incorrect order number. The cashiers went to the back and got the manager who began trying to call previous customers to get them to come back. Being unable to reach them, he explained to me what had happened and said that they would deliver my order free of charge ASAP. I explained that I had already paid and had to wait for him to figure out how to void my payment before he took down my info to have my pizza delivered. I left, and trusted the pizza wouldn't take long and would be there ASAP as promised. An hour and a half later, I called to see where my order was. I was put on hold for several minutes before being told they'd arrive shortly. When the order arrived, it was incorrect and missing items. Very unsatisfied with the service I received. Our pizza was good, but overall, the place is miserably managed, and this instance is a prime example. Avoid this location at all costs. read more

I flew in here frantic around 1:30 PM yesterday hoping that by some miracle, they had a couple ready to take pizzas I had some fantastic contractors at my house and had been unsure if they'd finish by the lunch hour. They were getting close, so I tried to run and get something quick for them all as a big thank you gesture. I first attempted tacos but the place was closed for the holiday weekend. The girl here saved me!! No ready to take pizzas, but she did everything she could to give me something fast (the take and bake pizzas take about 45 min in the oven). After a couple quick questions to the cook, they ended up giving me all their available individual slices and I got a couple small personal pizzas made as well. Waited maybe 15 minutes for all of it, and I was out the door with 5 star pizza, plates and all. I didn't have a plan C so I'm extra thankful for her determination to make sure I got what I needed. And thanks to the cook for his understanding my urgency. Needless to say they saved the day and now I owe them both tacos read more

I ABSOLUTELY love this Giordanos-it is by far, the Very best! I work in Glenview. The food is always fresh, and delicious! The service is even better! Katie always knows what I want, she ALWAYS greets me with a smile and ask how I'm doing. My order is hot and ready when I get there. One afternoon, I was on a conference call as I pulled up and Katie saw me and walked my order to my vehicle. She didn't have to do that. Doesn't get much better than Giordano's deep dish pizza - unless you're willing to go downtown to Gino's East. Ordered 2 large pies (1 cheese/1 pepperoni) last evening (take-out) and they were phenomenal. Well worth the price - high quality ingredients and great taste. They were ready at the time they were supposed to be and the employees were very friendly. Both pizzas were still hot when I got home - about a 10 minute drive - and we have lots of leftovers for the next few days. I'll definitely order again. read more

This restaurant has horrible customer service and runs a horrible delivery business. Even the manager made excuses for their poor service and made me, the customer, feel badly for not being more understanding that my order was 45 minutes late and that they kept me on hold on the phone for 30 minutes. Maybe to go in and pick up an order would be OK but I would never use the store for delivery. read more

Triple check your order before you leave! Placed an orders for my daughter's birthday party 3 hours before I needed it. Opened it up at home when it was time to eat to find out the order was wrong. Called and they were able to repeat back the correct order. Someone clearly at this location can not read well then. Very disappointed read more

Really good Chicago stuff pizza. I love the spinach. The dine in space is a bit small but nothing is better then eating a stuff pizza fresh out of the oven. The outdoor dinning space is ok if you love a parking lot view. read more
