Well..all year round! They have an indoor sitting space too! During their free ice cream event this past Saturday, I tried the "Greek Yogurt" option. Their ice cream is creamy, light, and not too sugary-sweet. The texture was similar to Gelato. The ice cream melts fast, so eat up!

The level of awesomeness was definitely off the charts and Lab Made is super instagrammable! During my short visit in HK, i still managed to drop by Lab Made twice (Repulse Bay Shop and Tseung Kwan O Shop). The flavours changes biweekly and they often have an Asian twist (black sesame, purple rice, Yakult, tofu,...). I tried the black sesame (44 hk dollar / 5.2 €) and the peach yogurt (39 hk dollar / 4.75 €) flavour. The black sesame was surprisingly good; the crushed peanuts and the black sesame sauce excited my taste buds. According to their FB page the black sesame flavour should taste like the traditional black sesame rice dumpling. As an OBC (= Overseas Born Chinese) i have no clue how that even looks like. The peach yogurt is of course a healthier treat and preferably.

For weeks, I saw the sign that they'd be opening this Autumn on the charming Lee Tung Avenue and I couldn't wait. I'll be here for scoops and pints regularly! Given the proximity to my home, this means trouble, scoops and scoops of deliciously sprinkly, swirly trouble! They offer their full menu of ice cream (so many inventive flavors!), frozen yogurt, whimsical ice cream cones dipped in marshmallow and cereal (fruit loops, Rice Krispies, cocoa krispies), smoothies and coffee/tea. Ice cream cakes are available by order, but they do not have any on site. There's a nice seating area in the back if you need a break from the crowds on Lee Tung Ave and it will be great in the summer when you want to enjoy your ice cream w/o having it melt in the humidity of HK. They have a good assortment of flavors here, some are so creative so it would be helpful if they added a description of the ice cream flavors on their menu board. They currently have the name of the ice cream but not the ingredients so I've noticed other customers and myself asking the staff to describe each one until we've made a decision. That said, the staff here is extremely patient and all have been friendly. They even take special care in each order, when I've ordered to-go, they've neatly packed it in a bag with dry ice. A sweet addition to the avenue!

Their products are imported from Japan as they use Japanese milk to produce their ice cream. Anything with Japanese milk always tastes amazing. I've walked pass this ice cream shop a handful of times but never stopped since I was never in the mood for ice cream. This time, I wanted to try what this shop has to offer, so I decided to just go for it. And..., I am so glad I did! I absolutely love all the different flavors they have to offer. Like I said, they have tons of "Asian" flavors which I have never seen, nor could I ever get, at ice cream stores in the states, etc. Some of their flavors include: black sesame, red bean, milk tea, green tea, and the list goes on. I was only going to get two scoops, so I debated hard between milk tea, black sesame, and red bean. Ultimately, I chose milk tea and black sesame since I've had red bean quite a bit recently and felt that the milk tea and black sesame flavors were more unique. Both scoops tasted really good and left my tummy extremely satisfied. The dinner I had earlier that night was not good, so I was happy to end the night with some yummy ice cream dessert.

I Cremeria Cafe is located on the 4th floor - food court inside the Langham Place. Tip: take the express escalator to bypass the hustles of shoppers to the 3rd floor, and quickly take a short escalator ride to 4th floor and BAM, it's right there! I had Hokkaido fresh cream soft serve when I visited Japan a few years back, and I've always wanted to enjoy it again. It is not overly sweet like our very own Mr. Softie; the Hokkaido fresh cream is silky soft and has a natural sweetness. Love it so much! We've tried the soft serve in cones and cups; as well as the mix (matcha + cream). If my body allows it, I would have one everyday... alas, my metabolism just won't work with me. So 3 nights in a row was a heavenly treat!!!! #vacationweightdontcount #foodhumor LOL

The lavender ice cream signage caught our eye, but we ended up getting the vanilla ice cream topped with gold. The ice cream was really good, not too sweet or bland. Had a light vanilla flavor. They visited Oddies and we wanted to try egg waffles so we walked there. Getting there was admittedly a steep trek but it was completely worth the walk. It's a small shop that was easy to miss, but there was a nice spot to sit down inside. We bought the Fancy Pants parfait, which was somewhat pricey (about $10 US). We opted to eat it on the way back to our hotel. The gelato was soft and creamy, and had multiple layers of tantalizing flavors (peanut butter, cookie chunks, etc.). It was super flavorful and delicious. The egg waffles themselves were crispy on the outside and custardy and soft on the inside. They were the perfect amount of sweetness and absolutely delectable when eaten in a spoon with the ice cream. This was so, so yummy and unique- definitely somewhere to go and wish we had time for a repeat visit!
