Ryan responds to everything promptly and is a very thorough communicator. He was my favorite vendor to work with throughout wedding planning. Ryan made sure we were well taken care of leading up to the wedding with texts, emails, and phone calls checking in and understanding our day of plans. Ryan and Donny were the most talked about part of our wedding day! They really came through with not only providing the dueling pianos portion of the evening, but also audio equipment for our ceremony and DJ services throughout cocktail hour, dinner, and end of the night. Ryan and Donny are fantastic performers!!!! They pulled out all the stops with a trumpet, guitar solos, and tambourines for the crowd! Versatility and talent beyond compare…read more After reading all the glowing reviews of Michael Tiernan's musicianship my wife and I felt honored to be able to make a date with him to provide the music for a party at The Thursday Club in Point Loma. The party was partially a 50th anniversary but mostly a celebration of great friendships of many years. He did an incredible job of playing songs that were the perfect complement to the changing dynamics of the entire evening. Michael is a charming individual and when the mood was right he played songs that engaged the crowd, captured their attention and drew applause. He's a master at reading the room. Toward the end of the evening a contingent got up and started dancing between the tables. Michael was totally in his element. He can create all the high energy party vibe you could want. He has spontaneous looping techniques that make his renditions of songs as full bodied as a band. As part of the planning process we received a list of songs that are in his repertoire. You would not believe the length of the list and the variety of situations and moods he can bring to life. This next part is slightly humorous, but testifies to what a great guy Michael is. Since the majority of the crowd was going to be septuagenarians like ourselves, we were concerned that if the music was too "prominent" the guests might have difficulty hearing each other and conversing. It was with a little trepidation that we brought up this concern with Michael. You don't sign up an artist with all his gifts and then ask him to play quietly. His response was immediate and completely understanding. He totally got it. He assured us he could keep it as mellow as we wanted. And he did it perfectly with no cues from us, especially during the crucial cocktail-hour part of the event which was an important time for people to mingle and visit. He reads the room. If you are planning a special event you hope to bring all the elements together to make it a great experience for all the guests. It's like an art project. Music is an essential part of the experience. Look no further for an amazingly gifted musician who can work with you to craft the occasion to your desires to make it a meaningful and joyful celebration.

She is truly a musical genius! Krissy played during our pre-ceremony, ceremony, and cocktail hour, and somehow made every single moment feel even more special. Her range is AMAZING--she played everything from classical to hip-hop to classic rock, and every song sounded absolutely beautiful on the violin. At cocktail hour, I surprised my dad by requesting a Led Zepplin song to be played and he was so surprised. He pulled me aside and immediately knew it was for him. She even played me and my husband's song - Goosebumps by Travis Scott even though she had never heard it before. It was AMAZING!! This was just a couple of the many special moments Krissy was able to make happen. There truly was not a dry eye during our ceremony. The emotion she was able to bring through her music was indescribable. Hearing the songs we had chosen played so beautifully as we walked down the aisle made an already emotional moment even more powerful. You could feel the emotion throughout the entire ceremony, and so many of our guests told us afterward how much her music moved them. It gave me chills and is something I will never forget. It was so great to have MULTIPLE people come up to us and compliment how good he was and the playlist. The dance floor was full the whole night! He was so kind and very detailed asking how long we wanted certain songs and hyped the crowd up perfectly for grand entrances. There was a particular moment my (now) husband and I remember where he played a classic throwback from the early 2000s and all of our guest including us went wild because we're millennials and we grew up on that music. He read the crowds energy and mashed up 3 songs to keep it going, playing the most memorable parts to sing along to instead of having the whole 3 songs where the energy might die. It was AMAZING! Going into wedding planning I had a fear of DJs because I have been to many weddings where the dance floor was empty because of poor song choices, microphone feedback during speeches, etc but he smashed it out of the park. Everything went so smoothly and couldn't have been better! I even forgot my bouquet as I was about to go down the aisle and he was on top of it immediately and seamlessly looped the processional song without anyone noticing a thing. Absolutely made our wedding everything we hoped it would be. We couldn't recommend someone more.
