The deliveries came from Floral Studio and every single one made me laugh, especially the pot plant adorned with "new baby" balloon. I'll never know if the joke was intentional - after all, the sender was German ... I loved the overall tackiness and that the deliveries were not of the boring generic sort you would generally expect from a global flower delivery system. Not sure if the shop is still part of Interflora and whether the people running it are still the same, but Floral Studio is still there on its little corner at the less popular end of Portobello Road. And it's a proper flower shop where you can select your favourite blooms to be arranged into a lovely creation - at reasonable prices. I promise to buy more flowers to make sure it's still here in years to come. The area has been changing at a frightening pace and a lot of the more useful suppliers have been replaced by fashion chains or nail bars.

The flowers are beautiful and last well over a week before they start to show signs of drooping. They have a price for everyone at wheelers. Pretty posies or huge center piece style arrangements. I tend to buy big and when they are delivered the drivers are polite and enthusiastic about their delivery. Local delivery charges are a steal at £5.00 or you can collect for free.

Downstairs (with gates both at the top and bottom of the stairs and staff that will help you carry buggies) there's a large soft play area with slides, a swing, a climbing wall, a ball pit and a plethora of toys. There's also a little play house, a large wall painted with blackboard paint with chalks at the ready. On the far side there's a book shelf and reading corner as well as a sensory room fully darkened with just a few colour changing light sources. Absolutely love this place and £5 entry for children is very reasonable for hours of fun!
