Everyone please check the not recommended reviews at the bottom. I am not sure why but all of her bad reviews are going there and then it appears that this business is better recommended. Please do not do business with them. She will not say anything to you but try to publicly shame you.

I started using Gina in April 2018 and we love her. My poodle, Phoebe, is always happy to see Gina. She's always 15 mins early and she's fast and does an excellent job. I love it because Phoebe doesn't have to sit in a cage and be around barking dogs all day. She's done within 30 mins and I didn't have to drive to drop her off or pick her up! Thanks Gina!

She did an awesome job with our dogs! They are both trying to get over being with a terrible groomer for so long and gina worked with them and got them through it. They are both going crazy playing showing off their new haircuts. thank you!

    Beepers summer cut!!!Thanks Miss Gina

Do not hire this groomer. She is not nice to your pet. She has a very bad temper. She did my dog's first groom and traumatized him.

I debated writing this because I actually liked the groomer and my puppy's haircut came out nice…read more But the overall experience was extremely stressful and poorly handled. I brought my puppy in for a routine groom with JAZMIN and was told he had a mat on his arm. I completely understand that mats happen--that wasn't the issue. The issue was how it was communicated and handled. Before I left, she checked his entire body in front of me and confirmed that was the only mat. Despite that, she began telling me that his entire body might need to be shaved down and that he could possibly be showing skin. As a dog owner, that's very alarming--especially when it doesn't match what was actually found. When I tried to ask questions and figure out a reasonable solution, instead of guiding me, her response multiple times was: "Do you want to just take him?" She repeated this several times--even after I had scheduled my day around this appointment and was clearly trying to move forward. Even when I came back to adjust the plan (just bathe him, hygiene cut, etc.), I was met again with: "Do you want to take him?" There was no reassurance, no clear plan, and no offer to simply proceed and call me if anything else was found--which would have resolved everything. Instead, I spent hours going back and forth, stressed and unsure if I was going to pick my dog up shaved down to the skin over one small mat. The final result? Exactly what I initially expected--only that small area was trimmed and the rest of his coat was perfectly fine. That confirms this situation was unnecessarily escalated from the start. I don't have an issue with the grooming result. But the communication, tone, and overall handling of the situation were disappointing and avoidable. When I spoke with a manager, I was told the groomer may have been "having a bad day." Respectfully, that shouldn't affect how customers are treated--especially when it involves their pets. Because of this experience, I won't be returning. I just can't go through that level of stress again over something so minor.

Girl, I brought my cat here and honestly worst mistake ever. I know this is a groomer that does…read moreboth cats and dogs, but they just should just advertise as grooming dogs only. I have a very high maintenance long haired persian cat and am new to the area, so I trusted this business since they are the first groomer that pops up when you google "Best groomer near me". First of all, let's just start with the fact that it was a drop off system. For a cat. That had a pre planned appointment set already. This isn't just a normal drop off system. It's a room full of dogs that are being left there for hours. Oh, did I mention my cat was there for 5 hours? AND they didn't answer my phone call twice to check on my cat? Smh. Anyway, my cat was left still wet, not combed through all the way, and I came to get rid of his knots, which I was told "If he's too difficult I wont dry him through all the way" Girl huh?! what were you doing with him for five hours then?! They literally still had a christmas tree up. In march. If that doesn't tell you how lazy they are I don't know what will. I give this place a 2/10. If you want to go somewhere that will actually treat your high maintenance long haired feline, go to Clear Lake Kennels. I paid $65 to get a proper blowout, knots out, and three baths all within an hour and a half time frame. I paid $125 for a still wet cat, knots, and choppy grooming at Puppy Love Grooming Salon. Will never bring my cat here again and will NEVER recommend even to a dog owner. Don't bother replying if you're the owner, I don't care.

BEWARE***Kennel Cough Alert*** 12/10/2024 I dropped my dog off for the first time at a boarding facility here. I felt confident after speaking with the lady that works there that this would be a decent place for my furbaby. I did not have a great experience with the man that works there and to find out, he's the "General Manager". I dropped my, almost 2 y.o., dog off here from 11/30 - 12/8 as we were going on a cruise. Upon pick-up on 12/8 around 11:45am, I asked the GM how was Kingsley's stay, and he replied "good". I expected to hear more than just good as an update, but ok. As the GM brings out my baby, he is coughing and honking. I asked the GM about it and he "promised" that Kingsley wasn't sick but was pulling on his harness (not collar). I told him that in all the year(s) that I've had him, he's never made those sounds pulling on a leash. I asked him if he was sure and he stated the same thing. When I got home, Kingsley continued to cough, honk, sneeze, and try to clear his throat. Around 4pm, I called back to inform them that he's still making these sounds and there's no harness or anything on him. The GM said how it was impossible to be Kennel Cough, how they had a slow week, how there wasn't many dogs, etc. The thing is, Kingsley is unaltered, so he couldn't have the play time with other dogs anyway so it doesn't make sense. Kingsley also had soft stool with blood. I asked him if he had noticed or if any staff had noticed and he said no. This leads me to believe that they are not keeping a true watchful eye on the dogs to any degree. The GM says that him nor any of the staff heard Kingsley coughing or noticed blood in his stool. Kingsley was with them for 9 or so days and he did not arrive like that. I've never had any illnesses with him up until this point which I expressed to the GM. My rhetorical question to him was so this is Kingsley's 1st time coughing at my noon pick-up and bloody stool by 4pm and it's sudden onset?! That's ridiculous. The GM denied it and said how we couldn't prove anything without a vet's opinion as he is not one. He said after taking Kingsley to a vet, then we could have "the" conversation. On 12/9, I took Kingsley to urgent care and he, in fact, has Kennel Cough. They loved on him and prescribed him medication. I relayed the GM's messages to them to check for their medical opinion and they made it clear that it's impossible that his very first time showing signs of Kennel Cough and bloody stool was when I picked him up. I called Paws and Friends today, 12/10/24 around 5:30 pm, and confirmed the Kennel Cough to the GM. Did he apologize? No! Did he seem caring? No! His response was that Kennel Cough is not 100% preventable. I could understand that to a certain degree. My issue with him is the denial, suspected dishonesty, and the lack of accountability and customer service. I asked him if there would be any reimbursement for his medical care or even a portion of his stay, the GM said no. I feel that like paying for Kingley's vet care at the bare minimum could have righted this wrong. Quite actually, I would have been the upmost satisfied with a more transparent answer and wellness update upon pickup akin to "Hey, I'm not sure if Kingsley is ill, but we noticed this and that and we'd advise he'd be seen for these symptoms because ( ) isn't 100% preventable. But no, I received an Oh, he's just pulling on his leash, I promise he isn't sick. Oh, he just coughed once, that's not indicative of Kennel Cough. The service and treatment my family received is unacceptable and I cannot recommend Paws and Friends to anyone with pets. Also, I asked the GM if there was anyone that I could speak to besides him, a District Manager, the owner, anyone above him. Guess what, he's the end-all-be-all. In his words, the owner isn't really involved in the business. For boarding, I spent shy of $300 and for vet care, I spent about $280. **Message shortened for update space**
