The BEST Realtor on the Monterey Peninsula is Peter Boggs!…read more Buying a home is one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions you'll ever make. Choosing the right Realtor made all the difference for us. After working with Peter Boggs, my husband and I understand why he is consistently one of the highest-rated Realtors on the Monterey Peninsula. One of the easiest individuals to communicate with, it oftentimes felt as if we were talking with a knowledgeable, trusted friend in Peter. He guided us through every step of the process with honesty, professionalism, and genuine care. From the moment our offer was accepted until the day we received the keys, Peter orchestrated one of the smoothest, fastest, and most seamless escrows we could have imagined. We closed in just 14 days on a turnkey home in one of the Monterey Peninsula's most sought-after neighborhoods. That doesn't happen by accident. It happened because of Peter's local experience and presence, close working relationships, attention to detail, and transparent and clear communication. Like some buyers today, we thought we could do most of the legwork ourselves. We searched every real estate website daily, perused Reddit, explored neighborhoods, and toured open houses whenever we visited Monterey. What we quickly learned is that technology can help you find listings--but it cannot replace an exceptional Realtor. Because we resided out of town, Peter became our trusted eyes and ears. He toured homes for us, sent detailed videos and photos, answered countless questions, and gave us candid objective feedback. He met with home inspectors, contractors, engineers, and even potential neighbors on our behalf. He never tried to hurry or pressure us to buy a house; instead, he helped us determine whether each property was truly the right fit for our lifestyle and long-term goals. One of Peter's greatest strengths is his ability to educate his clients. He taught us to look beyond beautiful staging and fresh paint. We learned about coastal construction, deferred maintenance, moisture intrusion, salt-air exposure, inspections, resale value, future repair costs, and, most importantly, the overall quality--or "bones"--of each home. That knowledge saved us from making an expensive mistake. We fell in love with one home that appeared perfect, but Peter identified years of deferred maintenance. Walking away was difficult, but looking back, it was absolutely the right decision. Instead of settling, Peter encouraged us to stay patient and trust the process. He often reminded us: "There is a home for every buyer." He was right. Not long afterward, we found the home we were truly meant to own. Looking back, Peter didn't just help us buy a house. He helped us build the life we had imagined. And if finding the perfect home wasn't enough, Peter gifted us with the most beautiful housewarming surprise. He gave us a hand-painted portrait of our home by local Monterey artist Stacey Gregory, along with a top-shelf bottle of nice champagne and other thoughtful gifts. Every time we see that custom painting hanging in our home, we are reminded of our new life and the person who made it possible. If you are searching for someone who is knowledgeable, responsive, trustworthy, well connected, and genuinely committed to his clients, we recommend Peter Boggs without hesitation. His extremely personable and likable style makes the inherently stressful home buying experience unbelievably memorable. He truly believes there is a home for every buyer. Thanks to Peter Boggs, we found ours. We will always be grateful!

Peter Boggs helped us sell our home in Carmel by the Sea, and we give him our highest…read morerecommendation. When it came time to sell our house, we interviewed four highly respected local agents and gave our final decision to hire Peter a lot of serious thought. We knew we were making a solid choice, but we honestly never imagined he would actually exceed all of our expectations the way he did. Peter didn't just sell our home, he got us multiple offers and top dollar - in a sluggish real estate market struggling with high interest rates, frightening world events, rocky employment and finicky buyers. To achieve that, Peter called upon his stable of affordable contractors to make our house look better than the competition; he had striking photos and video of the house taken; he produced high-end marketing materials and launched attention-grabbing marketing campaigns; he held regular open houses and always personally hosted them; he promoted our home to other agents; and he skillfully negotiated with multiple agents to get us the best deal. But it was the way Peter did these things that truly made him a standout. He's a high-energy person who personally oversaw all of the above. He's a great communicator who kept us appraised of everything happening. He's a tireless deal-maker who followed every sales lead. He's a savvy negotiator who knew when to push for more and when to compromise. And he always made us feel like his only client. As if that wasn't enough, he was always making extra efforts: like helping to design our new landscaping, getting his hands dirty planting plants, and even hand-watering that new landscaping when we were traveling. We had other real estate professionals tell us they could get us more money, but in the end, Peter's pricing proved to be the most realistic, and his non-stop extra efforts got us the results we wanted.

I don't recall how we chose Annette at that time, as she was working for a real estate company. However, I do remember that Annette was very responsive and helpful during our first home purchase. She provided honest "bottom line up front" facts on what we needed to purchase the property. In fact, she was very knowledgeable about VA loans and the detailed requirements--extremely helpful. Fast forward twelve years later: We determined that a move was more beneficial to us. We asked each other who we should contact to represent our home sale, and we unanimously said: "Annette Boggs". Why--because she knew us, knew the details of our previous purchase, she knows the area, she has excellent integrity and honesty, and impeccable work practices. We contacted her a year before we actually decided to sell, thereby gathering a better feel for what we need to do to help her sell the property. Annette performed a site visit at our home, and we realized that she branched off and developed her own company, which was very exciting. Annette gave us clear and honest guidance on what we would need to do for preparation. A year later, we contacted Annette again to let her know that we were ready to sell the property, and she immediately scheduled another site visit to go over the details. Annette came with her staff and explained exactly what we needed to do to prepare. Annette explained that she would professionally have the windows and house cleaned. Moreover, she provided professional photography and staging of the home. Our house looked brand new when she was ready to advertise. In addition, her 24/7 communication concerning all updates and new news was on spot perfect. Because of her "Above and Beyond" approach, we were able to not only purchase but sell our property with seamless results. Did Annette Boggs meet her motto: Above and Beyond"? We would say she went to the moon and back. We highly recommend Annette Boggs for your future real estate endeavors. Dennis Oaks

We began to communicate with her a few months ago, when I did not quite understand what my timeline and financial framework would be. Santa Cruz, Los Gatos, Campbell, San Jose - lots of driving! We made a couple of offers, but there were some strange sellers' agents, which, of course, is unacceptable in the current market.
