Way to take care of your customers!!!Only because you can't give less. I have never gone there yet that the loading zone isn't parked full of vehicles that sit there for 30 minutes to an hour. I have address it with store manager he got so mad the other day he announced if you don't move them we will have them towed. No one came and he didn't follow through. Every Sunday most isles are blocked with gates to bring in more supplies trouble is most days no one's doing it. Most employees run if they see you loading heavy boards instead of doing their jobs. And rarely is there checkouts open usually long lines who think your there for their convince. Here's a surprise without customer's they don't need staff that don't want to work. Cashiers stand around talking instead of stocking. I have talk to several other contractors who are starting to go to other places apparently HD don't care. And their prices are higher than most other places now along with regularly being out of supplies for weeks on some lumbe A store director owes it not to give attitude but to fix the issue. I'm terribly disappointed in Story & Lee Furniture. I will never buy anything from that store!!…read moreThey sold us two "genuine leather" recliners at a price of $ $$$$$ Sold as the highest grade genuine leather. After only a few months of using the chairs, small specks of the "leather" began to peel off. I was told it was a chemical reaction of my husband's head because he takes cholesterol medication. As time has passed more and more spots have flaked off like cardboard showing the inner layer that looks just like cardboard fibers. It's totally unpresentable and looks like it came from a thrift store for $100.

We're visiting the quaint hamlet of Pulaski Tennessee on this late spring Saturday. Pulaski is home…read moreof the world renowned Sun Drop Festival, and also home to other unsavory happenings back in the 1800s, but we're beyond that I'm hoping. The happenings on this day were of a more civil nature and consisted of a number of fair vendors setting up shop around the historic town square. Reeves Drugstore is housed in a string of old brick buildings that also line the square. Its charm is old school from the get-go. When I opened their front door and stepped in, it was like stepping back into my childhood. Immediately, I thought, dang, we had one of these in our downtown. In fact, three! Newberrys, Thrifty, and Woolworth. All had lunch counters, and all served up tasty food offerings just like Reeves. Reeves also has an ice cream counter. $1.75 for a scoop! If you're lucky, you'll get the young lady who scooped up ours. She packs it into the base of the cone before putting a generous scoop on top. My Butter Pecan cone was solid. There were plenty of pecans mixed in. Some in every bite. We didn't need any drugs on this visit. We were pretty high from the Sun Drop soda, Sun Drop cake, freeze-dried gummy bears, and of course, ice cream. But if you're in need of some kind of pill, tincture, or sundry, you'll be in good hands at Reeves. Quick Tip: The folks who work at Reeves are honest, hard-working townspeople. Polite as can be. If you're in need of some sincere southern hospitality, they'll give it by the bushel. Please give them your business, and reward them with a smile.
