I really appreciated that Jesus responded right away with any questions about pricing. His pricing is fair as well. The food was the delicious and there was more than enough condiments and sides for my 50 guest. You do need to provide your own cups for drinks and have in hand containers for any leftovers you would like to keep. The staff was also respectful and nice. Would definitely recommend and use them for any other future event! read more

I wish i could gave them 0 stars. You cant expect to serve a wedding of 100 people with small amounts of sides (onion/lemon/sauces). And when they were asked for more. Theyre answer was that they didnt have anything else... I asked for a quesadilla and it had 3 or 4 small pieces of meat. Worst service ever !!! read more

I was hosting a family and friends giving party at my residence this year. I went on yelp to find a Taco Catering company near me. So I made a few calls and left messages with a few companies. Gil's Catering service was one of them. He texted me back right away and gave me a decent quote. I eventually went with Gil and let me tell you, his service and food were top-notch. Everyone at my party was impressed by the food and preparation. Everything was delicious and well organized. I highly recommend Gil's catering service. It was well worth my money spent. read more

I looked all over yelp for a taco man. Came across Gil's, with just a few reviews I was hesitant. But hey, in order for reviews someone has to give them the chance. So I decide to take that chance and sent Jesus a message. He was very professional and prompt with replys so I decided to book them. Up to the day of the party I was still a bit worried but Jesus came through. He has a great setup with the hot dogs and the tacos. Most importantly, his food was great and he was professional and friendly. All my friends love them and been asking me for his details. He have my referral and more events to come for sure read more

Wonderful service for my son's Eagle Court. The al pastor was 'the best' according to my buddy. I ordered enough for 120 guests, and the price was very reasonable. There was plenty of meat, toppings and drinks left over. I recommend ordering an extra tray of rice, as we ran out toward the end. Jesus was also flexible when we had to change our venue. We did have to provide our own napkins and forks, but this wasn't a big deal. It was the perfect lunch for a perfect afternoon. read more

Jesus catered my son's 2nd bday this past weekend. Overall was very happy. His spread of sides and accoutrements was SO FANTASTIC!! Salsas were delicious, his rice was a hit, everybody loved the jalapeños and onions. Yummy stuff! There was more than enough food for everyone and he left me all the leftovers which was great because party was far from over after he left. Only thing I would ding him on is that he said it would be two hours of serving and in fact it was 1 and a half. Other than that, great work! read more

Gil's Taco Catering - Caterers Near Me

This company was hired for my daughter's birthday party after a yelp search, reading reviews I felt this would be the best company to hire. Details for the catering were all handled over the phone, very professionally. Any question I had was answered with no problem. Day of the party, they arrived promptly before the party start time, immediately began setting up and was ready to go by party start time. Not every guest showed up on time, of course so, once the serving time was up they left all remaining with no issue and the guest who arrived late were still able to make tacos. The servers were excellent! Nice, neat, friendly and professional. The food was amazing! There was plenty, everyone enjoyed and continue to mention how well the tacos were prepared. We will definitely use them again and pass their information to anyone looking for catering. The price was reasonable for ALL of what was received; There was no skimping!!! I am so grateful and thankful for such great service and great food! read more

Gil's Taco Catering - Caterers Near Me

I hired Gil's for my son's 9th birthday party. We had about 30 people (mostly family) come by. Two young men showed up an hour before my event began, set up neatly, and started to grill the meat, mixed veggies, and peppers and onions. Everything smelled great but tasted even better! I ordered asada, chicken and al pastor and it was delicious. People were raving about the grilled mixed veggies and the grilled onions and jalapeños. Also, the tacos came with a ton of fixings and a tray of rice and beans on the side. The young men serving the tacos were professional, courteous and friendly. The only downside (if I can even call it that) is that if you want to keep your leftovers, you have to have somewhere to store it because they keep all of their trays. I wasn't aware and thought they'd use aluminum trays or disposable plates/trays and had to go rummaging through my cupboards to find Tupperware right before the guys finished cleaning up. All in all, the food was delicious, set up on time, clean, arranged in an aesthetically pleasing fashion, and the price was the best I found. I am definitely going to order from Gil's in the future! read more

I was looking for taco catering for my baby shower, small event of 50 or less. I found Gil's here on yelp and was quickly drawn in by the good reviews of service and taste of the food. I exchanged a few a text messages with Jesus , and like the quote he gave me. Once I decided to book him because he was available for my day I called him and set up an arrangement for my event. Jesus made me feel comfortable, and confident with his services. He responds quick to messages, and answers any and all questions you have with courtesy. That's all you ask for from a professional, not to mention to food was delicious. Every single one of my guests went for seconds or even thirds. The horchata was perfect, the meat was delicious and all the sides looked freshly prepared, everything was just what I expected. Not to mention the staff, they were really helpful, and also courteous. They served my guests up to the last minute, and helped pack all the left over meat and sides. Overall they made my experience easy and stress free, and that's what you want when you have a million other things to worry about when planning a party. Thank you Jesus, and staff. read more

Gils Tacos is a must have at your event!!! I am soooooo happy that I booked this taco company. I booked within a short time frame and they were able to take on the job. Junior and Joseph showed up an hour early to set up, which I thought was amazing. The food was so well seasoned, exactly needed for my crowd of guests. They provided us with the leftovers, which wasnt much because we pretty much ate most of it at the event...it was that gooood lol. However, I'm happy I had a little more to eat at home lol. Gils if you're reading this, I will be a REPEAT client!!! Thanks for everything! Loved everything. I can go on and on. Please book with this company..they are reliable! read more
