I retained NiCale for a bankruptcy and things went well until I checked my credit report as she recommends I noticed my vehicle was included in the filing which was a mistake. I reviewed my forms to verify, although I distinctly remembered discussed keeping my ONLY vehicle. I was hoping to use my good payment history with the car to rebuild my credit because I have 3 years left to pay! I contacted NiCale's office about this immediately and was told my lender didn't provide a necessary form and it could be corrected for an attorney fee AND additional filing fee. I was puzzled because it wasn't my mistake, and the attorney's JOB for which she was already paid to be sure things were correct the first time. I contacted my lender and spoke to their attorney and I can keep my vehicle but it's not going to be reflected on my credit report as anything positive. I would not recommend NiCale to anyone as she has refused to accept accountability for the mistake and I feel like she's trying to swindle more money out of me to fix the problem. This problem still isn't fixed and I'm not getting credit for continuing payment on my car.

At our 1st meeting she argued that we were 20 minutes late for our appointment (we were 10 minutes early). She put in her report that she smelled cigarette smoke on my husband & I. Does that make us bad Grandparents? She also said she felt I was being "less than truthful" with her - how did she get that in one 20 minute meeting? Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am very truthful and can't stand Liars, cheats or Thieves! She didn't reveal or disqualify herself even though my ex son-in-law was giving her nephews baseball hitting & pitching lessons. She used her family members (a former classmate of my daughter) Facebook page to stalk my daughters PRIVATE Facebook page. Claiming my daughter hated her ex. Really? It's a divorce/custody case, imagine that! She wrote in her Guardian Ad Litem report that during her visit to my daughters house that she noted magazines on the bottom shelf of the aquarium stand. Magazines?! That there were cracker crumbs on the carpet where my then 3 yr old grandson had just been snacking (she saw him) & watching cartoons. She claimed my daughter was difficult to schedule an appointment with. But nothing about it being due to my daughter working for a hospital in Muncie and no available PTO hours due to court issues. How willing my ex son-in-law was to schedule (he was unemployed). Those are the only things she wrote in her report about my daughter & our family. However, her opinion of my daughters ex was glowing! No mention of his lengthy unemployment, living in a high-end rental in Fishers with his then girlfriend that neither had the income to support & were evicted 4 months later owing $28k in unpaid rent. Nor did she mention their 3 other evictions and/or bankruptcies. No vehicles/insurance in their names, multiple judgements all public info that she DID NOT research or did not feel the need to include in her report - I guess that info wasn't as important as magazines on the bottom of an aquarium. Finally, when questioned on the witness stand she admitted that she HAD NOT done her job as a Guardian Ad Litem due to taking care of a ill family member and farm. Funny, she still billed my daughter $700. This is all public info and can be proven through court transcripts.

AVOID AT ALL COST!! Keep looking! Complaints will be made with appropriate channels. Also, my refund was supposedly processed at around 4 pm last Friday, and is still not hit my account. I originally hired him to represent me in a false allegation of domestic battery, along with a divorce case. mr. Cody cogswell greets represent me on both of those, because I had a copy of a Facebook conversation between my ex-wife and another person where the allegations of the domestic abuse or discussed. In this discussion, my ex-wife admitted that there had never been physical abuse, and based upon the information mr. Caldwell had, he agreed to represent me for a flat fee of just over $3,500. However, several Family Court hearings were held where in punishment, or reprimand, was issue towards me, where the judge did not even allow me to present witnesses are testimonies in those hearings, and Cody calls will allow the judge to be blatantly violative of my rights and did nothing to report this immoral judge for his blatant violations. Nor did he fight on my behalf to make a new hearing be held. The hearing I'm talking about was one where CPS was present telling my attorney and the judge that if my son were to return to his mother's home, my son's life was in Jeopardy, as he had almost been killed there by the mother's boyfriend, whom had been locked up on the charge of assault on the child. The judge was still ordering my child to go back to that house, not allow me to present witnesses, or evidence saying my son's life was in Jeopardy! Cody calls will allow this to happen! Then two weeks before I go to trial on the domestic battery, Cody Caldwell tells me give him $2,500 more, or take a plea agreement, or he's dismissing himself in my case. I was left with just two options of either going by myself with no attorney, or taking a plea agreement. I was forced into taking the plea agreement. I thought Cody cogswell had presented the evidence to the judge, as he went and had a discussion with the prosecutor about this Facebook conversation where I can fetch him was made that no crime at a turd. Mr. Cogswell lied to me and said that those are inadmissible, when in fact they are admissible. Not only that, he never even presented the evidence to the judge to allow the judge the opportunity to decide if it was a miserable or not. I found out that nothing was ever presented to the judge by inquiring into the judge's office recently in hopes of having my charge amended down. Cody cogswell hid evidence, conspired with the prosecutor to hide such evidence, and failed to present evidence before the judge that showed innocence! Then he tried to extort $2,500 more out of me, if I wanted to go to trial, when he had already previously agreed to represent me for a flat fee! Do not trust this man, nor place your family's future in his hands!
