Story: I was passing through the town two weeks ago, stopped in to watch a movie and managed to leave behind my wallet and not realize it until I was in a different state entirely! I called them and right away was assured that they had found it and placed it in a secure spot and would ship it out to me the very next morning. Not only did I receive my wallet back (with EVERYTHING still there) I also received a phone call from the manager within minutes of having gotten it asking me if I had received my package in good condition. He had been following the tracking number on his end to ensure the safe delivery of my wallet. I am SO GRATEFUL to everyone at this theater that helped get my wallet back to me. Ava community art center is one of my favorite establishments in Gillette. The arts need a…read morepresence in the community and Ava makes that happen. They constantly offer art classes, in all medias, for people of all ages. From painting and drawing to ceramics, photography, or even jewelry crafting - they make their classes easy and enjoyable for everyone. Sometimes there are single classes, but others can last for weeks. You can come and go as you please. They even offer monthly night painting classes for adults, wine included. This makes for a fun, relaxing, yet different get away. Look for classes specific to holidays, too! Ava also homes an ever changing gallery. Creations from artists all around the area can be found here. The exhibitions are always brilliant and you'll love seeing what the next one can bring - 2D or 3D work, it all has a chance to be displayed. Within the building you will also find a small gift shop area, offering work from local artists for sale. They always get new inventory and you can find some beautiful buys in all the different art mediums. There is also an assortment of art supplies on sale - paints, brushes, canvases and more!
