Dear Foothills Twin Theatre, Just want send out a HUGE THANK YOU to you!! You went above and beyond the call of any customer service I have ever seen! Story: I was passing through the town two weeks ago, stopped in to watch a movie and managed to leave behind my wallet and not realize it until I was in a different state entirely! I called them and right away was assured that they had found it and placed it in a secure spot and would ship it out to me the very next morning. Not only did I receive my wallet back (with EVERYTHING still there) I also received a phone call from the manager within minutes of having gotten it asking me if I had received my package in good condition. He had been following the tracking number on his end to ensure the safe delivery of my wallet. I am SO GRATEFUL to everyone at this theater that helped get my wallet back to me. If you were banking on "buying online to skip the line" dont, you will miss the first part of your movie wating in line to have your "Online Ticket" printed. Only theater still operating in the 90's.... read more

This Theatre is descent for a small town. Prices are fair and the people are nice. It's not fancy, but at least we can go see a movie every now an then. It's rarely crowded unless something really good is playing. We have enjoyed this Theatre. We like Gillette, WY, it's home!! read more

They constantly offer art classes, in all medias, for people of all ages. From painting and drawing to ceramics, photography, or even jewelry crafting - they make their classes easy and enjoyable for everyone. Sometimes there are single classes, but others can last for weeks. You can come and go as you please. They even offer monthly night painting classes for adults, wine included. This makes for a fun, relaxing, yet different get away. Look for classes specific to holidays, too! Ava also homes an ever changing gallery. Creations from artists all around the area can be found here. The exhibitions are always brilliant and you'll love seeing what the next one can bring - 2D or 3D work, it all has a chance to be displayed. Within the building you will also find a small gift shop area, offering work from local artists for sale. They always get new inventory and you can find some beautiful buys in all the different art mediums. There is also an assortment of art supplies on sale - paints, brushes, canvases and more! I recommend a stop by AVA to anyone in the area. There is always something going on!

The Campbell County Rockpile Museum in Gillette, Wyoming opened its doors to the public on July 21, 1974. Ralph A. Kintz was the driving force behind the establishment of the museum, purchasing the land where the famous rockpile sits and then donating this property to the county in 1970. The Rockpile has been a landmark in Gillette for many years. The first four settlers in Gillette centered their claims on this site. Legend has it that when travelers came from the west the Rockpile would let them know when they had arrived in Gillette. The Rockpile also was not far from the railhead of the Burlington & Missouri Railroad which arrived in Gillette in 1891. Ever since this time, the famous pile of rocks has been known by local citizens as the Rockpile.
