My chairs look and feel better now than what they were when I first purchased them. They even did more to my chairs than what I knew and I wasn't charged for the extras. Example: I paid for 1 side of 1 chair to be repaired, but they did all of them, and didn't charge me for the extra ones!!! The cost is also reasonable, compared to other upholstery companies that I contacted, and they charged me a total of $75.00 to pickup my 6 chairs and then return them. I just knew we were in good hands and we are so thrilled with the final result. Our chaise sectional couch was looking sad due to years of wear. Carie knew right away what we needed and refilled all of our cushions with a combination of foam and polyfill. What can I say about Carie and her peeps? One stop shopping!…read moreI just had a chair reupholstered and am now waiting for slipcovers and drapery panels that will go on my 15" high windows in my new Center City Loft. I am excited and thrilled to say the least. The chair is beyond amazing. I had it upholstered in a white leather I purchased from B Wilkes as I stated in my earlier review for the fabric store. I had the wood refinished in a shiny silver. The chair is an ornate french style that was dated and stuffy. Now I have a masterpiece! White leather, silver wood trim and funky graffiti text finishes it all off... BANANAS!!!!!! Carie is a sweetheart to work with! As soon as I have the drapery panels back and the slipcover, I will post pics of all the finished items. Thanks again Carie, you rock!!!

If everyone we did business with was as terrific as Paul life would we SO MUCH EASIER! To begin,…read morehis work itself was excellent. My husband and I had six Lane danish modern dining chairs from the '60s that needed new cane backs. The danish modern style weave needed to be ordered specially. Paul already had a relationship with a supplier of this uncommon product. The sheet caning and splines also needed to be dyed to match the coloring of the wood frames. He color-matched it all perfectly. And the caning work itself is really handsome. The chairs have gotten rave compliments for very design savvy friends. Paul is clearly very enthusiastic about the work he does. While my chairs only required sheet caning, he also does the traditional and much more skill-intensive hand weaving He showed me beautiful hand caned work he did as well as rawhide repair and other types of seat weaving. I almost wish I needed some of this work done! Lastly, but also very important is what a pleasant and conscientious person he is. He is remarkably polite and easy to talk to. His prices were very reasonable and he had the work done within the timeframe he originally proposed.

Need upholstery done? Oh & Son is The Way to go!…read more I very recently needed a chair re-upholstered and discovered Oh & Son Upholstery recommended by numerous posters here on Yelp and on NextDoor, so I took the plunge. The replacement fabric I'd purchased had a repeat that I wanted placed a very specific way on the chair. I supplied Mr. Oh with some illustrations, and an additional chat. There were very strategic issues that he and his team addressed, that I hadn't even taken into account, but he made correct decisions with regard to them! He did this because he is the ultimate perfectionist. I felt that he was that way very early on, just by the way he expressed himself and by the questions he asked. So, here is my advice: take your upholstery needs to Mr.Oh. You will be very pleased!
