I visited Big O in Globe AZ to have my brakes serviced (brakes needed a fluid flush). I was told…read morethat I needed to replace my brake master cylinder prior to the service that was needed. I discovered, as I was preparing to replace the master cylinder, I had noticed the cover panel under the hood of my Lexus IS250 had a very distinctive crack. When I returned to the shop I mentioned this to the service representative. To shorten the story Big O made it right. They ordered a replacement part. Not only did they compensate me but they did not charge me for the fluid flush. Thank you Big O! I have found that the staff is very customer service oriented.

One of the items they identified was the old serpentine belt wrapped around the axle. Apparently it was too much work for them to pull it off because it's still there. They replaced the valve cover gasket, did an oil change and replaced the existing belts. There is lots more to get done including the timing belt. My son called back to get a price for all the parts and labor which was almost $300 more than the next shop we called in the area. I am not saying they are a bad shop, but these few issues plus some communication problems will make me think twice.

Didn't top off brake fluid, even though the light is on, and bottle was sitting right next to the reservoir/master cylinder. Charged me to top off coolant. Looks like they mostly added just water. Was bright green before I brought it in, clear now. Didn't ask me. Charged me to top of washer fluid even though you can clearly see all the lines to the jets are gone. Didn't ask me.
