That's cheaper than Walmart and the gift store's selection was way better. The same held true for beach towels and again only $11.99! Plus the towels are "full body" size for laying out on the beach. The girls scooped up a couple more mini backpacks that are real popular now. I think of them as the teen and tween version of the adult fanny packs. We bought gifts for family back home. The merchandise they provide can't be found in Disney stores sometimes. Some can be found on Amazon but Amazon can be pricier. I love how affordable they are and they provide a lot of things that help families get ready for their Disney trip! Even saw a couple Harry Potter things. I didn't notice it on them until I got home. When I called the store to ask how to remove it, they said, they didn't know, and to talk to the manager. Then they said "Bye" and hung up on me! The bright colors and paint all over the building spoke to me. Inside, it is pretty similar to other gift shops int he area. My hotel was on the same street as this gift shop. There are a total of 4 gifts shops (to my knowledge) in the same area. I hit all 4 just to check them out and compare. Also, I needed umbrellas, socks, and other miscellaneous things during my trip. Very bright and big sign outside…read more A lot of tourist gifts here, but nothing really that stood out as a deal other than some of the t-shirts (did not find the ones for $6 like on the giant sign outside). Yes, the pens I saw at the Publix were a dollar cheaper here, so if you want to get a few points of memorabilia from the trip, this isn't a bad place to do it. Toys, luggage, shot glasses and more... not all of it Disney or Universal related, there was a fair amount of just random Florida and Orlando merchandise, too. They didn't have the bead/charm items we were looking for, so we moved on, but others may find interest here (and cheaper than some of the parks though not necessarily any indication of quality or style).
