I had an issue with my prescription delivery and had to contact customer service. I was first helped by the chat agent, who was very kind and escalated the issue to another person who called the next day. He was incredibly nice as informative to the algorithm they use regarding max temperature and delivery locations. He was very kind as well, and escalated further to the pharmacy team. Pharmacy (Mary) called and left a message. I called back and spoke to (?Brandon) who made a successful effort to reach Mary Mary, who was diligent and tried to call several times before I was able to call her back, was especially wonderful and helpful with my options. I wanted to verify with my dr since Dr. White office said they send in prescription to upgrade my mg on zepbound. They sent prescription in last thursday. VERY frustrated and diappointed with this delivery experience with Gifthealth. The delayed package was left at my front door. No signature was required. There was no internal temperature gauge or temperature indicator in the package, which should be required for refrigerated medications. My own temperature check on the medication after delivery was approximately 85.4°F which is VERY close to the 86°F limit of usable medication. When a medication delivery requires someone to be home, the tracking, communication, and INTERNAL TEMPERATURE GAUGE need to be MUCH more reliable. read more

BTW, if you decide to have your prescription sent to your "local" pharmacy (usually Walmart), you should know that Walmart will charge you more. I use GiftHealth to receive my mail order prescription. I have never had any issues with them and have never had to contact them personally. After purchasing my medication, there is several texts and/or emails that keep me in the loop about the process. My prescription is to my door in about 2 days. It's packed immaculately and detailed instructions are included. The medication requires refrigeration and arrives with a cooler and ice packs. I appreciate the constant communication from start to finish and the reminders when it is time to order again. Absolutely horrendous experience working with GiftHealth. They use AI for everything - likely including texts because they're poorly written - and their bots are not well trained - for example, the text I received stated that they "received my medication from my Dr. and to set up my order, chat us at https://gifthealth.com. Please have your pharmacy insurance card ready."  First of all, you did not receive my medication, you received a request. Secondly 'chat us'? Ew.  Third, when I go to the website and attempt to tell the bot what I need, it tells me to wait for the Rx to be filled. I asked it about my insurance information and it said again to wait for the Rx to be filled. I asked if insurance information is requested during payment, and it said no. I reiterated that the text received said to text the bot to set up my order and it again acted like it had no idea what was going on and stated that I need to wait for the Rx to be filled.  The info they send via text doesn't match the actual process. They do not have a patient portal to add insurance or any other information to. When you call the phone number, their virtual AI bot argues with you about requesting a real human and cutting down on wait times. When it finally transferred me after my third "real human" request, I was on the phone with someone literally within 5 seconds.  The real humans, unfortunately, are not much more on top of it than the bots. Once I finally reached someone, she told me the cost would be $150, never asking once if I had insurance. I had already researched and it is supposed to be $50 max out of pocket, with or without insurance. I told her I have insurance and she said "we don't have it on file". For Pete's sake, lady, ASK FOR THE INFORMATION since you know I A. have insurance and B. you do not have that information. She really did not want to enter it.  I waited for a call back because she was supposed to be calling to verify insurance coverage - they do not have a direct link to verify like a real pharmacy. This entire thing has been a massive, massive headache and runaround. I can only imagine how many people call GiftHealth fully pissed off, and it is completely avoidable. They need an actual process that functions and far less reliance on AI. I'm not betting Ruth, owner, in the comments is a real person either. Update: The original person I spoke with never called me back (shocker). So I reached back out to GiftHealth and somehow managed to get the bot to connect me with Tashann. What a phenomenal person to work with! Full of information, support and genuine assistance. The prime example of why replacing humans with bots is a horrible idea. If I had worked with Tashann from the start, this would have been a 5-star review. I recommend Tashann. I still do not recommend GiftHealth. read more

This company charges more than it would cost to purchase the necessary items on your own; on top of billing your health insurance. Why use my insurance if you still expect me to pay. I contacted Gifthealth/LillyDirect two days in a row because I was trying to help my Kaiser PCP submit an electronic prescription correctly. Kaiser can send e‑prescriptions to outside pharmacies, but only if we know exactly how the receiving pharmacy is listed in the system. The first day, the agent gave me a generic blurb with the NPI, NCPDP, and NDC codes -- useful, but incomplete. It didn't explain how their system integrates with standard e‑prescribing networks or what my doctor should actually select inside Kaiser's EHR. When I followed up the next day to get the missing details, the experience got worse. The agent, Jasmin, repeatedly pasted the exact same script at me -- six times -- even after I explained that I already had that information and needed clarification. Instead of listening, she RUDELY insisted I "read it again," contradicted herself, and refused to explain what "send electronically" actually means in their workflow. At one point she implied that a postal address was part of electronic prescribing, which is simply not true. I eventually found the correct information on my own at Lilly's official provider page (https://www.lilly.com/lillydirect/hcp), which clearly explains how their e‑prescribing setup works and how the NPI/NCPDP identifiers are used. This is exactly the kind of clarification I was trying to get so my very cooperative Kaiser doctor could send the prescription properly. The fact that I had to track this down myself -- while the agent dismissed my questions and tried to end the chat -- is unacceptable. If Gifthealth/LillyDirect wants to support patients who rely on their service, they need to train their agents to understand their own systems and provide clear, respectful guidance. read more
