They…read moretacked on an extra 5-10$ every 5 seconds it felt like and after deciding not to get something I really wanted (simple toe nail design) because they kept upping the price I decided not to get my full set because they were just arguing with me the whole time. I ended up leaving crying because it was more than obvious they were talking sh!t about me to each other right in my face. Then less then a month later 3 of my toe nail polishes peeled off. I went back in to have them fixed and they did at no charge. Unfortunately however 2 days after that 4 of my nails' polish including the big toes peeled off and I called back to see what could be done. They charged me full price for a polish change. I would never recommend this place to anyone that wants their nails to last, or who want a simple nail design. Take your money somewhere else! They love to talk about you right in your face because they know you won't know what they're saying. Horrible vibe.

This time it really paid off. From the moment I opened the door, it was evident that Genesis was much more than an average salon. The lobby is beautifully decorated and comfortable. I was greeted immediately by the person who was to perform my service (Obi is awesomeness personified), and led to another immaculately furnished and decorated area. I love that everywhere I went, I could see that the customer was kept in mind. There are comfortable places to lounge and it is obviously kept CLEAN! From the outside, you would think this salon and spa is your ordinary store front, however you would be mistaken. Genesis is huge on the inside. Before coming for my appointment, I researched my esthetician Obi through her customer reviews. I'm happy to report that She was exactly what all of her customers have said she is: PHENOMENAL! I appreciated her professionalism and warm personality. Even though this was my first direct experience with her waxing services, I felt completely comfortable with her. Most importantly, she made sure that I was 100% satisfied with my service before I left, and to me, that is a woman who knows the meaning of customer service. Obi was so awesome that my spa and pedicure appointments are booked with her for the next few months. Yep, Obi is the newest member of the Diva Squad! I'm so thankful to have found Obi and Genesis. When the family came in, the stylist gave them the time, understanding & compassion they needed to feel relaxed about their decision making. The child chose a wig for herself & was carefully fitted.
