I drove about 30…read moreminutes from where I live to get to this location based on the positive reviews I read on the Vagaro app. I am always happy when the experiences of other customers encourage me to investigate a business for myself. This time it really paid off. From the moment I opened the door, it was evident that Genesis was much more than an average salon. The lobby is beautifully decorated and comfortable. I was greeted immediately by the person who was to perform my service (Obi is awesomeness personified), and led to another immaculately furnished and decorated area. I love that everywhere I went, I could see that the customer was kept in mind. There are comfortable places to lounge and it is obviously kept CLEAN! From the outside, you would think this salon and spa is your ordinary store front, however you would be mistaken. Genesis is huge on the inside. Before coming for my appointment, I researched my esthetician Obi through her customer reviews. I'm happy to report that She was exactly what all of her customers have said she is: PHENOMENAL! I appreciated her professionalism and warm personality. Even though this was my first direct experience with her waxing services, I felt completely comfortable with her. Most importantly, she made sure that I was 100% satisfied with my service before I left, and to me, that is a woman who knows the meaning of customer service. Obi was so awesome that my spa and pedicure appointments are booked with her for the next few months. Yep, Obi is the newest member of the Diva Squad! I'm so thankful to have found Obi and Genesis. Genesis Salon and Spa offers several services for men and women geared to pamper and care for the body, mind, and spirit. The best part for me is that this is a small, local, woman-owned business. I would not give this place any stars as far as hair…read moreservice I come form only high line salons and would and have paid top$ for my hair and some times if I can get in to my normal stylist or want to get a last minute service we will try out néw business not only is this place rude and very disrespectful and unknowledgeable on most hair services and when customers gives feed back they are so much on the defense I had a simple touch up and already explained the situation with my grays not taking which bye the way any hair stylist should already know what to use but it was clear they did. not so I told her what to do still didn't work I gave this place plenty of tries i was not asking for money back although the stylist was so rude and said since I didn't use vemo as I always pay cash and she received a huge tip she said I couldn't get anything back and I surely was not gonna have her redo it not only myself but I had plenty others try them out and none of them will be going back I would think from such a expensive place the owner would of touched base or honor her services so just shows the unprofessionals they are as I sat and listen to 3 stylist not only down grade other staff and the owner but talk how they did not want to give services to any large party's or certain individual this place has been reported to the BBB and yes most places that are any good will take you last minute not surely say nothing available for 3 weeks hang up on you don't answer phones list goes on save your $ go anywhere else

There are several in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and Paducah, Kentucky. I did. I compared prices. OMS Carbondale is inflating their costs and they are not in the practice of helping the patient; they want as much money as they can get. Again, do your research. They are not the only option. I canceled my son's appointment once I found out the facts and cross-referenced their charges compared to the norm with other reputable oral surgeons. Their practice manager is nothing short of condescending and rude. Their insurance/treatment plan coordinator does not like being challenged with facts. You can do what you want, but don't pay their price without getting two other treatment estimates. Oh, by the way, any reputable dental practice will not bill for a consult, costing the patient $120, when they can code the visit as a limited exam and it cost the patient $40, plus they get their portion of the insurance allowed. Our group of friends rented a cabin on the wine trail and the girls hit up this place for yoga and…read moremassages. Both were fantastic! I loved my massage from Beckie. She was my therapy fairy. The yoga was a lot different than what we are used to but I dug it. Focus is mainly on Hatha yoga. Although they are in the same building the spa massages seem to belong to a different entity than the yoga. So if you book both make sure you leave enough time in between so you are not rushed the way we were.
