But once again I have an issue with entitled Staten Island white girls who act like they are above serving Latino men. You know, Latin men also have a right to shop at the mall! The gate keeping attitude some of these employees have is shocking. Upon visiting this location yesterday one of the employees, happened to be a caucasian young girl who knew nothing about archangels and sigils. Everytime I'd ask her a question she seemed disgusted and like I was inconveniencing her. I ended up speaking with a young man who assisted me with purchasing dragon's blood incense and he was pleasant during the interaction. I despise Gen Z and their attitude. I don't owe these lil white girls in Staten Island anything. It's not good enough to have a job. Being able to have proper communication with the public is extremely important but to do so you need to put your egos and biases aside, especially in a metaphysical store, where a smorgasbord of spiritual items are provided for various practices. If the female employee is reading this, get over yourself! Your bigotry shines and it's unpleasant in this day and age. Look around you, girl, businesses are shutdown from left to right and workers are losing their jobs. But I guess you don't care, since you think your special. This is another business I will sadly not be visiting. Thank goodness for online shopping, am I right?!

The two young ladies in the gift side of the shop act as if they're doing you a favor to pay for their slightly overpriced items. First, she didn't know the price of the item I wanted to purchase, she said she only works there and that the owner wasn't available at the time, because SHE was at a funeral. Then she gave me a price, but she didn't allow me to inspect the item closely, she said it can't be taken down from the window before Christmas. I went there again after Christmas and she said it can only be discounted 20%, but again, she would not let me inspect it. At that time, she said, she is a manager of the store and that owners are three man, the lady who was at a funeral was also a manager, not an owner of the store. Today, the item I wanted to purchase was still displayed on the window, and she lied that it was already sold, refusing to sell it to me. She was very rude and told me to get out of HER STORE, stating that she is the owner. This person by the name of Christine should not be manager of anything! She can take her whole store to her own home, because we - the residents of Bay Ridge don't need her NASTY ATTITUDE and lies! I will file a lawsuit against the store, and if she is the real owner, she will have to answer in Court, if not, I urge the owners to fire her, or they will be responsible for her nasty and discriminatory attitude!

Remembering how much she enjoyed the nice display of balloons. I began to search and was lucky enough to find Balloons Lane. Everything was simple, they delivered it as I asked for while she had stepped out the night before her birthday, and she loved them. I'll definitely use them again for a birthday in the future!

    The only positive thing I can say is that they were prompt issuing a refund. We had ordered…read moreballoons for a children's birthday party and were told the balloons would arrive anywhere between two and half to 30 minutes prior to the party beginning. Well, 30 minutes before the party was set to begin there were no balloons. We called up to inquire about a status update and they told us that they had totally forgotten about the order and that they would make it right away. We declined because there was no way the order would be made and delivered in 30 minutes. It would be embarrassing to have the balloons delivered halfway into the party so we told them to forget about the order. They offered a full refund and my response was are you still going to make and deliver the order? They then said no. So, they screwed up, forgot the order and refused to do the order and issue a full refund. Issuing a refund and still fulfilling the order would've gone a long way in showing me that they actually do care about customer service and satisfaction. Like I said, at least they issued the full refund, but forgetting about an entire balloon order (for a child's party nonetheless) is unacceptable and irresponsible. I will never use this vendor ever again and I find it very hard to believe that there are so many positive reviews for this company posted online. I understand that mistakes happen and incompetence is far too common these days, but to tell me (after they screwed up) that it can only be one or the other; the full refund or delivering the order late is just bad business. When you make a mistake like that you rectify it by offering the full refund AND still fulfilling the order. That's what a respectable business would be. Will never use again and I told them I'm going to tell everyone I know not to use their services either.
