By 6/23 I had not heard back so I sent an email to Victor asking for a status but did not receive a response. I also called Lloyd's the next day to ask for a status and was told that they are really busy and a message will be left for Victor. Unfortunately, no response was received. On Friday 8/15 I called Lloyd's and spoke with Steve in Sales. I explained that we have simplified the project and have purchased the lighting we would like to have installed. I told Steve that we want to use Lloyd's because of the good work they have done previously. Steve told me that he would talk to Victor on Tuesday 8/19 and would get back to me. After not hearing back from Steve by Wednesday 8/20, I called and left a message for Steve. I explained that we received a quote from another company but it was too high and I'm interested in working with Lloyd's. I did not hear back from Steve and am very disappointed at being ghosted by Lloyd's Electric. I will work with a new Vendor for the work to be done. I do NOT recommend Lloyd's Electric.

When asked about a repair, the guy said, "...if we have the parts on the truck, it'll be $350...". Obviously, I didn't pay that as I felt it was extremely high. Sure enough, after they left with my $79 'show up and estimate' fee for 5 minutes of looking at my crawlspace and telling me, I called another plumber nearby. That plumber estimated $225. After calling the original plumbers office again and explaining the situation I just experienced, along with the estimate I got from the other place, the lady on the phone even told me it seemed high. Either this place has a technician problem of inflating their book price or they have a pricing problem overall. Unbelievable! Anyway, completely would not suggest this plumber to anyone. UPDATE: Owner Ricky called me, explaining their pricing structure and refunded my 'show up and estimate' fee. He was very polite and open about their structure.

We moved to Wears Valley in October 2020 and found that the HVAC system required service due to…read moredeferred maintenance and severe humidity in the crawl space. In other words the heat pump wasn't working properly. Tristar was sent by the home warranty company to resolve a covered issue. However there were many uncovered issues with the HVAC system and I called Tristar to return to address them. Tristar returned, inspected and diagnosed the entire system, and informed me of their findings. My options were to either attempt to repair a unit close to the end of its service life or replace it. We chose to replace it with a larger and more efficient unit. Tristar did this quickly and professionally. I inspected the old unit when they got it out of the crawl space and it was a wreck in obviously horrible condition. Obvious moisture damage. After the installation, George Williams (the owner) strongly recommended that I install a dehumidifier and told me in no uncertain terms that without one I'd shorten the service life of the new unit. So I asked him to quote me a price. I was surprised when he said he didn't sell them. He was just letting me know that I had to have one! So, I got one and installed it. He also told me that the zone system controlling the ductwork was in bad shape and may need to be replaced but to wait to see whether the dehumidifier would correct the problem. It didn't, but the crawl space dried out. The zone system continued to malfunction so I called Tristar again. They replaced the zone system electronic components. The ductwork itself was fine. After the work was completed George informed me that the water filter on my well pump was a mess and needed attention. I didn't even know it had a filter! George is just that way. If he sees something that needs attention he tells you. He's observant and conscientious. No extra charge. In my experience Tristar is a good company, run by a good man. I cannot recommend them more highly. The new system works very well and was worth the expense.
