I would normally have the chicken stirfry with noodles which is lovely. There chicken curry and chicken fajita are also amazing. My all time favorite here is the sweet chili beef wrap with chips and side salad. On Sunday there roast beef is top class. Portions are always huge and if you have room after mains they have a wide selection of deserts. All staff are really very nice and i would rate this place 10 out of 10. Keep up the good work guys

Parked ourselves at the bar this place was very cosy, open fire to the end of the room made this place ubber cosy. There was plenty of locals here, place had a really good atmosphere. I ordered a tea and it was hilarious, barman turned around and flick the kettle on... Yep, no fancy gimmick hot water machine it was a just kettle and served up in a big standard ole irish cup. Old school, loved it! There was great banter going on amongst folk, the barman also doubled up as a bookie so that had folk very lively altogether. From the city, use to paying high prices so it's great when ye get out into the country, €4 for pint of Guinness and cup of tea was like €1 My husband got talking to an old local man who was super friendly, he recognised us as not being from around the area which was nice of him to say hello :-)

The WINGS are a must try! Our servers names was Stephen and he was wonderful. We even asked about Irish Coffee and he told us we we should try it out and it did not disappoint! We would absolutely recommend this place for anyone interested in a wide selection of delicious bites! This place was one of our top experiences during our vacation. The menu from Ollie's is offered a few days out of the week, it includes tasty bites like the ribs and wings. The resteraunt has a different name ( I wish I could remember the exact name) but it is a steakhouse and next to Ollie's!!

But just beware the few wasps which hover about outside and seem to be attracted by nearby apple trees and the scent of fruity cocktails! I visited in August 2017, as part of a Carlingford Mystery Cocktail Tour, and amongst our party of sixteen ladies, for most, this pub was a firm favourite. It was an extremely enjoyable stop during the tour. Will definitely be returning.

The staff are helpful, friendly and patient since their accent is hard to understand sometime. My 1st beer and 1st Irish food, all I can say is what a meal, just simple delish. Being here is just a wondrous experience, the place is cosy, warm and the friendly of the people. So glad I picked this place as my first of Dublin.

The staff were excellent--friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. The food was very good (we failed to take photos because we were too busy enjoying it). As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to see the Impossible burger front and center on their menu; it was deliciously prepared with guacamole on a brioche bun, and not an afterthought on the menu. My companions both chose the Irish Beef Burger, and said it was excellent. One thing to know: this is a traditional Victorian pub, so cocktails aren't really part of the program. I went for a cup of seafood chowder to start, followed by the steak sandwich. The chowder was just okay in my opinion. A bit too salty and not as thick as I like it. However, I may be a chowder snob. The steak sandwich in the other hand was unreal! Chunky chips, thick sliced bread and the most tender cut of steak. Perfect for a sandwich. I engulfed all the food. The chips were a winner. Fureys tends to be a busy spot, so you may have to wait to be seated. The staff are amazing and handle your wait really well. We were seated and taken care of really quickly. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing by.

This was a good life choice. It was homemade Guinness bread, with the best butter I've ever had in my life, and homemade jam. I could have eaten the entire loaf of that concoction. My husband got the lunch special of beef stroganoff, which was an experience all its own. Creamy, deep flavours of beef and mushroom graced our mouths with its glorious wonder. (This was the ultimate star of the show.) I had the Chicken pesto croque, which would have been the subject of my ultimate laudation on its own if the stroganoff hadn't appeared. The staff was very kind, the food delicious, and the experience overall lovely. Highly recommend it!

The Irish Rueben was a well done classic and the Croque Man O' War was savory but not heavy in the stomach. Our waitress was kind and checked in on us every now and again. This 400+ year old restaurant has very toasty space heaters around and is decorated with many cool items (like violins) all over the ceiling.
