I have the great pleasure to work with Gibney, Anthony & Flaherty LLP on my Green Card applications. They're truly the best law firm I've ever worked with!!!
Summary/ TL;DR:
1. I started working with Houman, Bill, and Colin on my Green Card applications (EB2 NIW + EB1A) in mid 2023. Prior to that, Houman carefully guided me to transition from STEM OPT to O-1 visa using the legal help of my company (another law firm). Houman's team gave me detailed legal advice on the advantages and potential risks of various visas, eg. O-1, H-1B, L1,etc. This is a trait of a stellar immigration attorney team. They put me in the best position even before my GC applications!!!
2. Houman's team successfully helped me apply for both EB2 NIW (March 2024) and EB1A (July 2024). In both cases, it only took less than ONE WEEK to get my I-140s. This is unheard of among my tech colleagues!!!
3. It took only ONE MONTH for Houman's team to finish preparing and submitting my I-485 application. We got a RFE three months after submission. Houman's team spent only two weeks in gathering materials and responding to the RFE. After two more weeks, I already received my GC (EB1A) and celebrated!!!
4. Details on reference letters: On top of the five reference letters I used in my O-1 visa, Colin did a fantastic in drafting all the five additional reference letters for me, including for both independent/objective and subjective references. Colin is a fantastic writer and he precisely knows which points to score in writing these reference letters. He's super responsive!
Take-away: Houman's team is very caring, responsive, and reasonable. Without exaggeration, having Houman's team to take care of my immigration case has been one of my greatest blessings since my arrival in the US as a student in 2016!
Seriously, Gibney, Anthony, & Flaherty LLP is way better than the immigration law firm provided by my company. They deserve my strongest and highest recommendation to you all!
