However, when I got home and checked my car I noticed that the car wash missed several spots including the back windshield. Yes, they offer another wash in 48 hours, but I don't have time to go back there and sit in line again in hopes that they hit those missing spots the second time. Update: Management reached out and made the situation right. I went back for another try and the wash was much better. My first visit must have been an off day, so I'm glad I went back to give them another opportunity.

Alan's is setup such that you can vacuum first or second without a barrier. 2) The vacuum is powerful. Like I've not used a vacuum that powerful before. It gets all the dirt in every nook and cranny, including areas I had long given up on that are no longer filled with compressed cheese crackers and dried chocolate milk. 3) There are a ton of cleaning accessories, including some kind of miracle glass cleaner. This also includes detailing tools like brushes which combined with the mega vacuum ensure that your kid carrier or mid life crises mobile are spotless, even the smallest detail. 4) The owner is almost always there so if you have an issue, he will take care of you.

Great service, reasonable price, and I'd come out feeling my car was as clean as it could be. Today it was the opposite of that. Cars were being cleaned out of order, it felt like the staff didn't know what was going on, and clearly they didn't really care. When I got my car back the interior vacuuming was haphazard at best. The fact that it was the first really gorgeous weekend day in months and it wasn't super busy should have been an indication. Not sure that I'll be going back. It's too bad. This car wash was a neighborhood staple and now it's just a disappointment.

I gave a $5 tip but should have checked the car first. Before I left the lot, I drove back to the vac station, went inside and asked one of the men inside to look at the carpet. He stated my brand of carpet was hard to clean. I have cleaned it many times and gotten it almost perfectly clean. He did vac a little more on the edge by the door and that helped. Then I started to go back out of the lot and noticed the console hadn't been touched so I went back in and another guy cleaned that. All week long I am seeing different things that had not been touched. When I pulled out the floor mat on the driver's side, it had not been cleaned at all. You could see the outline of dirt where the mat was. I will never go back there again.
