According to their writeup, this restaurant has gone viral in SP for its videos of preparation of dishes- the dish that has gone viral is their spagehetti al formagio- with lots of melted parmesan flambed in cognac- thus I had to try it for myself. On a raining night in SP, I stopped in for some dinner at their opening time, 7pm without a reservation and able to secure a table for two. It is recommended to make a reservation, especially on a Friday night, as 90 percent of the tables were reserved for 7pm. By 8pm, all tables were full in this small restaurant. Reservation should be made in advance online prior to the day you plan to come. As their flaming entrée, spagehetti al formagio, aka fettuccini, was featured, I decided to get this with a twist. On the menu they offer this dish with pistachio- called Spaghetti al Formaggio Pistache- which serves two people. When its time to make your dish, the chef will invite you to watch how its prepared- in Portuguese he will describe the process. Its quite a show! Once completed the chef will bring the dish to your table. This dish is very rich- thus you may want to share this dish and compliment it with a salad to offset the richness. As we did not read this dish is for two people, we also ordered a Risotto with mushrooms, which was equally rich. Both dishes were excellent and very filling. This is not a restaurant to come to for a quiet intimate dinner- but a place to enjoy with a group of people in a very relax setting.
