My discovery of the week: frozen yogurt from Smöoy! We found…read morethe newly opened shop right at the end of the Rambla. The pink door stuck out so we were curious and stepped into the very small and clinical white "room". We received a friendly greeting from a woman who was standing behind counter. She explained whats on offer, and my head was spinning: so many flavors and topping to choose from. Arrrggg Each week there they have a "sabor de semana" (flavor of the week) and we were allowed to try before ordering. I immediately fell in love with the natural yogurt whereby my partner really liked the flavor of the week: melon, which was a bit too sweet for me but the yogurt: oh my word. Now we had to choose a topping.....and there I stumbled......overwhelmed by the colorful sauces, flakes and smarties I went for something crunchy. Once we have paid (2€ per person) we took our frozen yogurts and went outside to enjoy our sin ( but hey: hardly any calories in yogurt, right?) The taste was delicious!!!! Smooth.....natural.....rich....almost no words to describe it, just: go there and try it yourselves!

Smooy is by far one of the best yogurt I've had! Everything from the adorable decor, wide variety of topping selections and yogurt flavors, Smooy has definitely mastered the art of fro-yo! I got the original flavor with pineapple and yogurt was very creamy and thick (indication of good fro-yo)! My boyfriend had the strawberry flavored yogurt with chocolate topping--yum!! The prices are very reasonable for quality fro-yo you're getting! I highly recommend Smooy for all your fro-yo cravings!

I ate this in winter ish almost spring time so I can't imagine how good it hits on a hot summer day. I am obsessed with the rollo de Canella aka the cinnamon roll... yes it's gluten free (almost all their flavors are ugh love it)... it has actual crunch cinnamon roll cluster things idk what they are but love it and it's so cinnamony and not too sweet somehow. I am also obsessed with the dulce le deche... rich and yummy and love. I also had one that was vanilla and chocolate and orange... refreshing!! I tried like three or four flavors and it was welcomed! Went to check some sweet Italian gelato indulgence while in Spain. Found this place, it was a local…read morefavorite since I see a lot of locals buying in and out. There were 3 employees in the short aisle which is a lot for American standards. There were staff was very nice and was able to sample some of the flavors before buying. They have some few sittings inside but it's best enjoyed strolling in the beautiful neighborhood of Sant Antoni.

Near the gothic quarter in Barcelona Spain we found a great gelato shop with two staffers who were…read morefriendly and provided some samples. We decided on the mixed cup of dolce leche and the vegan blueberry gelato priced at 4€. The blueberry was very sweet and creamy which blended well with the light chocolate dolce. The last two pieces of brioche bread was gobbled up by my two friends who filled them with gelato, at least they let me try it. The bread tasted fresh and not too flaky and with the cold gelato in the center it was a good combo. The bathroom was oddly constructed. It was clean although made for small humans as my head literally hit the roof.
