Salomon redesigned their heal plates about 10 years ago. Alex made a detailed list of my son's old ski boot specifications and helped him try on various ski boots. Mike did not think that the heal plates for boots as old as his would be available so he transplanted the back heal plates from another pair of boots of similar size to my son's old ski boots and donated the boots to fix the front heal plates if they break. All work was done within 2 weeks and free of charge. My son's old comfortable ski boots were repaired to our full satisfaction.

Warranty included. 15% off accessories for 7 days after the buy. You can get sized on your visit to see what size of bike you need. You can test drive the floor model on the lot to get a feel for your chosen one. (Bring runners, of course) I learned a lot and I'll be back soon for payment. 3 Ottawa locations. My initial impression communicating with him over email/phone and then meeting him in person is exceptionally positive. He seems to really love what he does, his prices are fantastic and he is very pleasant to deal with. Update: the initial servicing dome on the bikes was fine. Everything seemed in order. However my road bike developed a gear noise in under 50km which can happen. The reason for the reduced rating from 5 star to 3 star is that I took my tire in for a tube replacement. Kyle replaced my tube with a new one, after a 10km ride I got a flat. The second time he replaced the tube and tape inside and the tire was again flat withing 15km of riding. When I had gone the second time, he had said if I get another flat I can call him and he'll fix it free of charge. I didn't ask him to fix it for free, he offered. So when I got the flat and messaged him to take him up on the offer of getting it fixed he just didn't reply. I tried contacting him probably 3 or 4 times over a period of a month and got no reply. That type of service is unacceptable so I will not be going back.

He said "it will depend completely on my cost, that is a ballpark range." Come on, what cost does it depend on other than labour??? Couldn't even tell me a firm price? Finally I brought the bike to Kunstadt and it costed only $15 with much better attitude and service.
