Visited this Giant to get some international food ingredients. They have a very good collection in fact. They do have a seasonal aisle now carrying valentines day specials. There is a separate organic items aisles too. The robot cleaner is the only annoying thing. read more

Hate to give a bad review but this Giant has a habit of not pulling expired products off their shelves. So many times I have found expired canned goods, cupcakes, milk etc.. on shelves. And have done on line pick up and have given a note stating please check expiration date and make sure not expired, but am given expired product anyhow. I don't know, but this location has not been up to par for a long time, maybe it is the work ethic or something that employees or managers do not pay attention or care any longer. Never has this store been that bad in selling expired products. read more

This place is getting better! Yes I've had a couple of complaints over time, such as the cashier pointing out the "35 or less" sign after I've already emptied my $250 cart, or squishing my groceries, etc. but each time I've complained they've made it right and I've seen improvement afterwards. It's hard to turn around these kinds of things and they're doing it. Props to them! read more

This is the worst Giant. The cashiers don't bother to say hello and NEVER bag your groceries. Today my cashier started ringing up the person behind me groceries and they were mixing in with mine while I was feverishly trying to bag my groceries. They also have the worst selection of produce. Onions are always rotten, potatoes with eyes on them, etc. I purposely drive to the Acme out of my way just not to go to this Giant , but in a pinch when you just have to grab groceries I always have a terrible experience at this Giant. read more

It was a toss up. Run to Wegman's for our last minute party items or Giant. But then we saw a "digital coupon" in the Sale Flyer that Giant direct mails to our home ... a really good special on Crab Legs. We don't understand what a "digital coupon" is and the flyer doesn't explain it anywhere, but we are Giant Card Holders, so they will help us, right? So we go to Giant to fill our list. Too bad they were out of the "Just Five Classic French Onion" dip mix on our list (and if they had had it, it would have been $2.49 according to the shelf tag - regularly $1.99 at Wegmans). But the real disappointment is that we get to the cash register and we don't get the Crab Leg Special. Turns out you must download the Giant App. It didn't say that anywhere in the flyer but ... okay, I will download the app right here and now. "Oh, no, you can't do that. It takes several hours for the digital coupon to appear". We left the Crab Legs (it was a $5 a pound difference in price). and still had to go to Wegman's anyway, where the "Just Five" dip mix was on special for $.99 ... saved $15 on ten bags of the mix. The people in the store were pleasant. I received the sale price without hassle. One of these two shopping experiences was pleasant. One felt like a classic deception to get us into the store under false pretenses. First time i ever wrote a review on a grocery store. I felt it was dishonest and customer unfriendly. Came home and looked thru the flyer again ... nothing to insinuate we had to download an app several hours in advance to get the special. Somebody in marketing doesn't understand that the purpose of advertising is to get people into the store AND to make them want to come back. read more

I needed to stock up on toothbrushes I'm a student and buying one tooth brush at a time is just dumb. So I bought the only 4/multi pack of toothbrushes available. And oh em GEE. They legit hurt my gums so badly like idk what about it was just so aggressive. And I had already thrown out my other toothbrush. The employee working at the self-service checkouts in the morning is angry, rude and unfriendly. How hard is it to return a "hello" or "good morning"?? This chick only stared at me like I had two heads when I smiled and said good morning to her. The absolute worst @Giantfoodstores I've ever been to. This is the Bakery. Trash everywhere, floors dirty, fryer for donuts covered in grease and it looks like the apocalypse happened. This was left by the manager by the way(in the donut area specifically). The main Store manager, Marsha, said they had standards here. If this is what passes for standards then count me out. This is why I left and will never go back. The store on West Chester Pike was much better. read more

The deli carries Boars Head otherwise I would never shop at this deli. It's chaotic. No signs that help the customer. Are we taking numbers for service? Walking up to the counter for service? Have to use the ordering kiosk? It would be one thing if it were consistent but it's not from week to week. And, so slow. I put my order in at the kiosk, do my shopping and I have a 20 minute wait. Don't say anything to the help behind the counter because they respond with hostility even if you are just trying to figure out how to get service. If I knew of anywhere else to get Boars Head I wouldn't shop here. read more

I have a mobility issue and have my groceries delivered by their Peapod service. It's wonderful! The drivers are professional and pleasant- even cheerful! They bring the groceries right into the kitchen for me! The text messages letting me know when they will arrive and it's to the minute! The truck is refrigerated, the food is fresh and everything is perfect!!!highly recommend!!! read more

I agree with the other reviews. This store needs to be remodeled. There is only one single door into the store. They put displays right near the entrance. If someone stops to look at it, no one gets in the store. Most of the carts are stored outside. Deli dept is slow. No fresh seafood. No butcher visible. The back of the store is hard to navigate. They have a bunch of displays randomlly placed. I live 2 miles away, but even though they advertise Peapod, they won't deliver to Downingtown. Giant is not a discount store, so I expect my groceries to be bagged by a Giant employee, not me. They never have enough baggers. I shop here because it is close to me, not because I like them. read more

Went to the Eagleview Blvd. Giant on Good Friday. I had a coupon I wanted to redeem for a free ham that I earned. To my surprise, they were sold out. Not only the Giant on Eagleview Blvd but the Giant in Exton and Thorndale were sold out as well. Do you believe that? It was like the middle of the afternoon. Talk about lack of planning. I went to Wegmans and Acme and they had an abundance of Easter hams. I live in rural Coatesville and I don't have the time to run around the next day and hope that there will be hams left. I settled on Acme and spent 19 bucks for an 18lb ham. What good is a free ham if you cant get one. read more

I wish I could give this place no stars! It's awful! It's dirty, smells bad and only has 1 person working at the deli counter during a time when everyone is off of work. Waiting in line 20 minutes for lunchmeat is horrible. They are always out of things that I need. I try to stop here as little as I possibly can, but they are the closest place to me that sells Boar's Head lunchmeat so I'm kind of STUCK dealing with it. I HATE THIS PLACE! Clean, good selection, just the right size, knowledgeable and friendly employees, well managed. This is our go-to grocery store. Hey, we'd go to Trader Joe's more often if it were closer, but it's not. They may not have all of the selection of Wegman's, but the aisles aren't as crowded either. read more

This Giant Food Store has the best customer service of any grocery store I have ever been too! The employees are polite and helpful. It is a smaller store and may not have all the stock that some of the other Giant Food Stores have, but I would much rather shop here. They always have enough checkout lanes open (something that the larger Giant Food Stores in the area struggle with). As a side note, their donuts are the best in the area! read more

The lionville, pa giant Foods store on Eagleview Blvd , is one of the worst stores around. Found out of date products in the deli , and see employees leaving to go to other stores. One employee said they left because of management. Very rude employees in deli . Bathrooms always dirty back by the floral department. U can see the employees are not happy there in the deli and others don't care anymore. Seems like the deli manager don't care about his employees ether. Never have enough employees in the front end. They need to replace the management there . They don't know what they are doing. read more
