Service was prompt and I loved seeing how busy it was on a weeknight! We got a dirty vodka martini and the sgt pepper old fashioned and both were delicious. One of the top dirty martinis I've had! Any questions we had about the menu were answered promptly and we enjoyed everything we ordered! We started with the parker house rolls which came with a raspberry lemonade jam which was delish! I got the steak frites which was absolutely incredible, cooked to perfection and so tasty. My boyfriend got the filet mignon and subbed mashed potatoes instead of balsamic potatoes. We also got a side of mac & cheese which came with cheeto crumbs on top (so good). I can't say enough good things about this menu! I thought that for the quality of the food it was reasonably priced. I want to come back again soon!

It's pretty dark in there, so they have those little green shaded lamps at the bar. I went with the Cardamadre, because it has pineapple and absinthe and sounded interesting. Definitely glad I chose that - it was fruity, but not overly sweet, with some bitterness from the absinthe and spices. I also had an order of fries, which were shoestring cut and came with a garlic aioli. They were a good snack before the show, and while $9 for fries is steep for fast casual, was not bad for a solo diner at a seated restaurant.

I have also ordered smoked turkeys and ham's from them for every christmas and most Thanksgivings. Everything was perfect. Until my last smoked turkey for christmas. My father was elderly and dying of heart disease and really enjoyed going for car rides to get out. He especially loved the ride to Friendsville Maryland. We got up on xmas eve morning and drove to country pride to pick up our smoked turkey. It was a cold but sunny morning. My father was not feeling good that day but insisted on going. I went in to pick up our turkey, the gentleman said " $20 bucks will cover it". That struck me funny because of how he said it and besides, it did not seem like very much money for a smoked turkey. And for good reason too. We put the turkey in the oven xmas morning to heat it up and my wife and father kept asking what smelled bad. It turned out the turkey was bad, you did not need a knife to cut it, it was mush, you could cut it with a spoon. So that ruined xmas dinner. We ended having frozen pizza with our mashed pototaoes and the othe sides. That was also the last chance that I had to eat a nice dinner with my father. He passed away the next month. What bothers me the most is that I know, deep down in my heart, that the man who sold me turkey that morning, new that turkey was bad. I could tell by his actions after I took time to think about it. I will never buy anything from them again, and I will never give them a good recommendation to anyone I know.

The chicken is delicious and you can taste the difference in quality in the beef, pork and other meats. My favorite thing about Dave's is their willingness to cut a smaller portion for roasts and also if there is not a cut on display they offer to get what you request. The freezer wrapping is just the finishing touch on the reason Dave's shines when compared to other stores in the area. I am glad I have a wonderful butcher close to home that for as long as I can remember continues to provide the best meat. Thank you Dave's and the outstanding, friendly staff. 10 gold stars!

We saw a nice assortment of beef, chicken, pork, turkey, kielbasa, bologna, burger patties, raviolis, vegetables, prepared salads, breads, pies, cookies, packaged grocery items (e.g., chips, nuts, and sauces), etcetera. We took a number to get in line for the deli meats. We chose a meatloaf, chicken salad, maple sausage links, and chicken patties. The total price was $30. The cashier promptly and politely rang up our purchase. We ate the foods at home. We thought that the foods tasted very good. Catering is also available.
