Based on an experience at the deli counter. A woman working there on 11/17 at 4p was too busy talking with a co-worker than to slice lunch meat for customers. Totally ignored them. This store makes me crazy!!! 9 am on a Saturday and only 3 packages of strawberries available. I chose one at $3/pkg. I opened when I got home and 5 berries are rotted. I don't have time to run back to the store to get a refund. Why is the produce so bad all the time and never stocked in the morning?!? So frustrating! read more

Three times in the last eight years I have gone to their customer service desk and changed my phone number. (I had the home phone taken out so gave them my cell number). THEY KEEP CHANGING IT BACK. And I do not carry the card as I'm not carrying 85 cards because every store thinks their special. Give them my cell number and it's no good again. I go to Costco or Aldi instead, even though Giant Eagle is within walking distance. read more

I hate literally every single thing about this Giant Eagle. They just did a remodel to the store, but you definitely can't tell; it looks horrible. No matter how busy this place gets, they will only have one or two check lanes open, so you're stuck spending the majority of your time standing in a line. There are only two self checkout lanes that are NEVER being monitored by an employee, which makes those lines move horribly slow. I absolutely dread having to come into this store. I am not exaggerating when I say that it is just as bad as shopping at Walmart. Ew. read more

It's a smaller giant eagle, however, they have what you need to get in and out. My major issue with this giant eagle is the check out times -- they may have three lanes open, but it takes forever to check out. There have also been times when I ask about where a product is, and nobody has any idea. However, they have fresh produce, great meats, and a Huntington Bank right inside. One star for minimal options, and another star for customer service. Great for weekly shopping trips, not good for parties and other unique grocery's. read more

Shout out to one of the best cashiers, Joe. Additionally the store itself is always kept in clean condition and I have never run into an issue with a product being out of stock. read more

In Columbus I am a regular Giant Eagle shopper. Was looking for a specific beer last Friday night and tried several gas stations around the area and none of them had Two Hearted Ale. Passing by Giant Eagle I knew they sold it in Columbus so I decided to stop and see if they also sold it up north. Pulling in after midnight the parking lot was basically empty and I was afraid they may be closed. To my joy they were down to one open entrance but the store was still open for business. Walking in it didn't take long to figure out where their beer cave was located but that is where my problems began. The lights were off, there was not a switch or an electronic eye to turn them back on, and there was not an employee in sight to help me find what I was looking for. I literally spent fifteen minutes with my flashlight on my cell phone wandering around the cooler trying to find my quest. Unfortunately they do not sell Two Hearted cold and I wasted my time in the cooler trying to find something that was not there. After spending as much time as I did trying to find something specific, I looked around their warm stock on the shelves, found it, and bought it anyway since I spent so much time trying to find it. Stupid me made one last trip the the beer cave to make sure I didn't miss it the first three times around. When checking out the lady was friendly and informative. After explaining my search, she stated that the lights automatically turn off at 11 in the beer cave. I made the suggestion to her and I will make it here that if they are going to turn it off automatically to save money, they need to have an electronic eye that turns the lights off and on 24-7 by motion as they would probably save more money by turning them off all the time they aren't being used instead of just at night. Second option is a switch. At the end of the day or in this case night, I am glad they had what I was looking for even if I wasted over twenty minutes trying to find it. read more

Worst Giant Eagle in Ohio very few workers but check yourself out overpriced and run down appearance

They need better shopping carts, more parking spaces and friendlier employees. This is my least favorite giant eagle nearby. I hope they are doing something good with the ongoing construction being built. read more

I live between 4 Giant Eagles. N Royalton is not my favorite store,but they do have the best meat compared to the other 3 stores in my area. Their produce is usually better also. read more

I hate when I have to run in this store. The workers are rude. The meat is not fresh. The seafood dept smells like rotten fish heads. Yuck! I will drive further to shop at Heinens. Any extra money I spend, well worth it. read more

This Giant Eagle is not customer service oriented. The lines are long and the store is too small to accommodate people. They never have baggers and the self check out is not user friendly due to how congested the area is. I only go to this store when I have to go for convenience- and then I berate myself when I'm there. read more

This store is always out of stock. I like the staff except for Deli. I have to always go elsewhere to get the items I need. They apparently are not Customer Obsessed and are not concerned with the issues. Meijer opening stores everywhere need to shape up or ship out! read more

The market district steaks behind the counter are shockingly the best in the area. I never thought that GE would have consistently better marbled steaks than every local butcher I visited within 45 miles. Only problem is that the steaks can vary in thickness and are generally cut at 1" and I prefer a 1.5" steak. When I have time I will see if they can cut thicker steaks for me or if am limited to they're precut steaks. read more

My 12 year old daughter was trying to help her blind grandpa shop. They stopped at the deli and asked for pasta salad. The girls became very snotty and asked her if she knew they had 3 types of pasta salad and then walked away form them. Very rude. Terrible customer service. read more

Although Marcs is our primary grocery store for produce and dairy and some canned goods, Giant Eagle has better meats and a wider selection of products. Compared to the GE on Broadview Road, we really prefer this location for many reasons. It is easier to maneuver around to find things. The staff is so much friendlier. Giant Eagle doubles coupons and offers fuel perks that add up. All in all my wife and I prefer Giant Eagle to Acme and the other stores we have within our community area. read more

This is one of the few Giant Eagles in the area that hasn't been made to be so large. I prefer having a smaller store. It's much easier to find things, and its convenient. I've been shopping here for years, and the employees are friendly and helpful. read more
