Huge grocery store with a really good layout. Friendly staff. Good parking and they do a really good job when you order online.

I called Giant Eagle on Day Drive to verify what time they close before I drive up there using my $5.plus gas and was told they are open until 10 went there and a sign said Service Desk temporarily closed I asked the female employee by the self check outs and she said they close at 8. Why would your service desk close before your store does? I miss Acme guess back to Aldi. Went back next day a little after 6 closed sign up again!!! Complained to Mgr on duty of course not helpful why is the Service Desk not open (and covered by staff) the whole time the store is open ? Guy in front of me was mad also read more

Giant Eagle is the biggest grocery store in northeast Ohio. This particular location was built from the ground up within the last year so it's beautiful. Giant Eagle has stepped up it's offering in this store by adding a sandwich/cold food deli, a kitchen, a hot buffet, a photo shop, and a cheese shop in addition to the standard meat, produce, bakery and pharmacy departments. To offset the cost of all these great amenities, Giant Eagle charges more for the items it sells. If you're willing to pay more for your groceries to have a top notch atmosphere, then you'll love this store. I only shop here when I can't find what I need at Marc's. Giant Eagle's meat department is unbeatable. The fresh ground and seasoned hamburgers are one of my favorite items from the gourmet butcher shop. I also grab some fresh, delicious sushi once in a while. This store also has a Get-Go on premises, which offers the lowest gas prices in the area if you shop at Giant Eagle and accumulate points. Be sure to join the Giant Eagle membership program if you're going to shop here. The one thing that doesn't make sense to me is the cheese shop. They sell some expensive cheeses that someone from Strongsville may enjoy. But this is Parma, where the median income is around $43,920 per year. People aren't going to spend up to $28 per pound for some tasty cheese, are they? Random tidbits: This store is open 24 hours per day. You can refill your printer's ink cartridges for less than $10 each at the photo shop. The strawberry casada cakes are amazing from the top notch bakery, not to mention all the little delectable treats they put forth each and every day. They have a person who specifically monitors the checkout lines. It is his/her duty to ensure you get through the line as quickly as possible, even if it means sending you to the customer service counter to checkout. A+ here. You can walk out with a complete meal and all the trimmings, hot or cold in less than 10 minutes, but you'll pay a hefty price for it. I love Giant eagle. It is by far my favorite grocery store. I usually visit this location after going to the gym because they are located fairy close to one another. The grocery store has a lot of great options (i.e. fresh produce, seafood, deli, lots of protein, tons of wine, a full liquor store, salad bar, sushi bar, etc.). One of the main reasons that I like Giant Eagle is because of the cleanliness and FUEL POINTS. Dear Rodney must be visiting a different Giant Eagle on Day Dr. then I've been heading to weekly for the past 5 years. Even in it's new location, not much as changed - it's a mixed bag of quality and service. Sometimes the produce is fine, fresh lettuce, crisp apples; and sometimes it's not. More often than not its a search through the bin for a bell pepper that's not bruised and shriveled and on more than one occasion I've picked up a piece of rotting fruit or sprouted potato. I can't really comment on the quality of the meat these days because I stopped buying meat here a long time ago favoring the cheaper prices and better quality found at the West Side Market. The deli counter meat is fresh, but the employees do always seem like they'd rather be slicing their hands off than slicing meat. The store is generally well organized although they do tend to stock at random hours and it's not unusual for the stock persons to leave their large carts out in the middle of aisle making it difficult to get by. I do appreciate the new breads area (when they leave the loaves whole) and cheese shop. Yes, I live in Parma and buy expensive cheese. Go figure. It's nice to be able to grab a block of Gruyere and have fresh crusty bread without needing to head to the WSM. Ultimately, I am too lazy to drive to Heinen's and too sane to go to Marc's so I deal with the Giant Eagle. The Fuel Perks make it just a little more bearable. read more

I waited in line for over 20 minutes today. This store has a good selection but is way overpriced and they obviously can't work a cash register. I only come here in a late night situation or when I need a specialty item. read more

I have to thank the entire Giant Eagle staff. During the Coronavirus pandemic they have all worked hard to keep the shelves stocked. They adjusted hours to allow elderly to come shop earlier and the folks at the checkout are very friendly. I was able to get almost everything on my list. Giant Eagle is typically more expensive than some other stores but do have some pretty good sales. For the convenience I'll pay a little extra but I get my rewards and save a ton too. I am happy to have such a great grocer so dedicated to serving people locally. Thank you for keeping the shelves stocked during this time. read more

Not the best, rude staff. Bakery not as much variety as snow road. Really rude staff in front checkouts. Avoid it if possible.

I must say this is the worst Giant Eagle-Parmatown- I have been to. Rudest-most unhelpful employees-must be taught this way by this particular store. Don't accept direction/snap cards at self check out, cashiers won't help-say to go to a cashier station. After I paid was told I should have hit some other button that I did not even see and they would not refund my money. The ecoupon that said $1 online only gave me .50-again no one would help. I am disabled and employees just walked in front of me and the wheelchair-never offered to help in or outside the store. Everything is a rip off-coupons, service and rotten attitude of every employee here. This place is disrespectful, shameful and unamerican. Spend your hard earned money anywhere else. This place and its horrible staff don't deserve it. All their actions are driving people away more and more every day. You should not have to be a pilot to check out their - overpriced items but that is what they are making it. I only hope one day they will be put through the garbage they are now spewing. read more

This place is always WAY busier than Snow rd. They do however have a lot more to offer. Including a full state liquor store. Also their floral shop is MUCH better. If you're in a hurry go to snow rd. If you like service come to Day Dr. read more

I have reviewed lots of good places and this is partly one. Prices, quality and quantity need to improve!! Although the employes are phenominal! Especially Ms. Oriti! She works upstairs but helps people in need, even though she doesn't have to. I gave this an extra two stars just because of her!!! read more
