I am not a fan of the giant eagle chain in general... I think their products are over priced and they do not have a lot of brand options.. you can't get organic apples and if they do have organic apples, they are a crappy kind of apple like gala ... I need some Honey Crisp or Pink lady apples. The deli counter lady seemed to be pissed she was there .. not friendly and I think she was scowling the entire time we were ordering.. don't ask for more than one meat or don't be indecisive, she might bite your head off. read more

My biggest quibble with this store is the slowness of the cashiers. They are terrible and don't seem to have been trained well. One cashier checking me out actually stopped working on my order when someone she knew came up to ask her a question and then she walked away from the checkout line to enlist someone else's help. She just left me waiting there while she did this, and it wasn't quick and she didn't ask if it was okay or even tell me she was going to do it. This after I'd already waited through her excruciatingly slow checkout of the customers ahead of me in line. It's like they don't know to keep both hands moving at the same time and they don't have a feel for where the barcodes are and they have to turn each item over and around to find where to scan. I'd say a just got a new cashier, but this happens every time I go to this store, regardless of who the cashier is. It's slow enough that I actually avoid the store. I've seen supervisors walk by while this is occurring and no coaching or correction is offered. Frustrating. read more

After mentioning I hate this store since it changed where everything is a blond that was working register 8 or nine this morning argued with me and said it was like this for a long time,same lady over charged me 7 dollars for a bogo that I did not receive even after calling someone for help she still messed it up.
