If you have any ailing muscle pains, you must go to this place or you'll be doing a huge disservice to yourself and your body.
I went to this place almost a decade ago after waking up every morning with my right arm feeling numb and getting pins and needle feelings from my fingers to my shoulders. On top of that, I had this excruciating pain in the inner lower corner of my shoulder blade area.
A friend of my mom's recommended I go to this acupuncturist. At the time, she was on Barclay Avenue and charged $50. I remember vividly what she did. First, she felt my both my wrists. She then turned me around and pressed her thumb exactly on where my back pain was. I was yelping with pain but it felt good that she was massaging the area; the exact area that was bothering me for years. She lay me on my stomach and alighed needles along the sides of my spine. I was left like that for an hour. Afterwards, she removed all the needles. She put her leg up on the table where I was sitting and hoisted my arm on her knee. She then took a long 6 inch needle and poked my arm everywhere with it making sharp, quick jabs. That needle stabbing only happened once and I went for 6 more sessions to get needles punctured along my back. It wasn't pleasant but I can tell you now, I never wake up with my arms feeling numb.
Today, I went to visit her again for a back spasm. I stood up from a chair last night and my back felt stiff. Today it got worse and my back wasn't straight anymore. My mom had to come and take me to her place. She laid me on my stomach on this heated granite bed and pressed on my lower back and made a twisting motion to put my spine back in place. She then put needles along my lower back and buttocks area. After 15 minutes, she then put needles on my lowers legs, feet and hands. I'm not completely healed but my back loosened a lot. I'm going to her again tomorrow for one more session.
This woman is a miracle worker. I recommended her to my mom and she's done wonders to her hip pain. Honestly, I really didn't want to give this info out but hey, if people have pain and this woman can heal it, I shouldn't be so selfish. I wouldn't recommend anyone else.
Oh yeah, she still charges $50 per treatment. read more
