I was a member of my son's PTA Board and I received an information packet on the services offered by the chiropractic center so I invited them to the school health fair. I admit I was a bit skeptical. I said to myself, if they are so great why are they advertising? I'm guilty of judging a book by it's cover. A BIG MISTAKE! Anyhow, Dr. Dave gave a presentation on wellness, spinal health and so forth. I was so impressed that I decided to visit the chiropractic center since I've had some health issues. I suffered from chronic headaches, neck pain and extreme fatigue. I've been a patient of Dr. Dave since May 2010. It's now August and I feel FANTASTIC! I haven't had one headache or migraine since. I have more energy and I'm no longer fatigued on the treadmill after 5 min. I can run longer and stronger and still not feel tired. My sleep pattern is better, work life better, it's weird but my entire mood is just different. Dr. Santucci is also with the practice and he's excellent too. I saw him once when Dr. Dave needed to leave the office. I was just as pleased. He gave recommendations to other doctors in the area who share the same beliefs the total health and well-being of their patients. As for their office staff (Lori, Diana & Marty) They are friendly and very professional. I believe they know every patient by name. It's a very cozy atmosphere. They accept most insurance plans and even if you don't have insurance; payments are affordable. I search through my health insurance guide (no google search back then, i think) and came across Dr. Jeffrey Schlesinger on summit Ave in Hackensack NJ. Although i lived in NYC, my company was based in New Jersey, so i had to see a Jersey chiropractor, and i knew the Hackensack area very well. I called the office and he personally picked up and asked if i can see him that same day. I walked into the office and I was met by the 100 lb guy and a 200 lb Rottweiler. I knew i was in the right place. Long story short this guy worked some crazy magic. I was no longer in serve pain and the next two days i felt like nothing ever happened. I kept going to him for regular adjustment and his witty humor.. My Company finally got an insurance company that dealt with New York, New Jersey, and therefore it was easier and more convenient for me to see a local chiropractor. Move a couple years forward, I get involved in two motor vehicle accidents, resulting in massive lower back pain and some herniated discs. Throughout the years I see a doctor in the Fort Lee area which at times I would get some positive results and other times it may no difference what he did to me. I'm going to try to keep this short because I want people to really read this especially if you are a woman. This man is masquerading as someone who really cares he doesn't, he is 100% in it for the money. I had a consultation with him a few months ago and all he did was interrupt me. I could not get a word in edgewise. He was completely not listening to me at all. Anytime I tried to speak. He interrupted me, which I found infuriating. I was having problems with my neck and he did a few adjustments and I left feeling pretty OK. He wanted me to go to Hackensack to get x-rays mind you this was a holiday weekend. I had one day to get these x-rays and it didn't work out for me, I just didn't have the time. The next appointment I had I went in without the x-rays and he berated me. He sat back in his chair, crossed his arms and spoke to me so condescendingly I had to interrupt him and say "I do not like the way you were speaking to me" He knew that he effed up because it was all over my face...he said whoa whoa OK let's start over and at that point I was not interested in starting over. I was done with him. He was so upset that I didn't get the x-rays for whatever reason I have no idea. He said he couldn't treat me because I didn't get the x-rays done blah blah blah, but he had no trouble treating me the first time I went in and he asked me how long did the adjustment last and I said two hours..he adjusted my neck and it felt OK just OK for two hours and then it went right back to the pain I had before now here is the really problematic part when I left the office the first time he gave me a big hug a very close hug which to me is completely inappropriate and then on my way out, he yelled (yelled) "give me a good review!" To me this was totally unprofessional. Now my second visit I knew it was going to be my last. If I was a man there is no way that Mr. Dipasquale would have spoken to me the way he did. There is absolutely no way. He even went so far as to have his assistant call me instead of himself when I complained, and I knew he was listening in on the background to what I was saying, obviously he was very concerned that I was going to leave him a bad review which I 100% am right now. There are so many other good chiropractors in the area in fact, three doors down from him in Maywood, New Jersey is a chiropractor. I suggest anybody ESPECIALLY A WOMAN to not go to Philip Dipasquale as your chiropractor. This man thinks very highly of himself. I warn all potential new clients to seek elsewhere.
