Healthy Alternative - Swiss Chard Stuffed Chicken

Healthy Alternative is truly the best healthy alternative food delivery option we've found so far…read more(especially for their vegan options) that is both reasonable price-wise and tastes amazing (without a lot of the unsavoury additives you'll find...ahem...corn syrup). We've tried LiveFit, Yumba, WeCook...I can't believe I actually WANT to order their salads - they're that good. I've also ordered the meat options and they were great too. The only reason why I've given them 4 stars is because I wish their ordering system was more clearly explained and user friendly on the website, because I had to call/email them a couple times to figure out how to do it. Just a heads up, it's a food subscription, they offer a first time delivery discount code, call them and ask for it. You order a plan through the website then they email you the weekly menu options. They also offer some wiggle room in the delivery dates, which is awesome. Also, free delivery, yay!! I also wish they offered more non-soy vegan options, but still love that they offer delicious vegan options. As a side note, I've really loved their salad dressings & sauces so far (particular YUM to their tzatziki or aioli sauces). Definitely worth a try if you're trying to find a delicious and healthy option!

It must have been "food fate", because I'm extremely happy that I made the change. What I like most about Healthy Alternative: --Tasty fresh food with different menu selections per delivery (I especially love their breakfast dishes) --Portion-controlled to fit my diet --Customized for special requests (i.e. No asparagus for me, please!) --Delivered right to my door twice a week --Fairly priced If and when I've had any concerns, Healthy Alternative has always been quick to respond and rectify the issue. Now that's what I call customer service! I look forward to continuing my service with HA for a long time to come. Thank you! :)

A couple Saturdays ago, I was running a few errands. Once I was done, I felt like visiting a diner for lunch. I did a search and found Poached Dreams Diner in Aurora. I didn't mind driving up from Markham to check it out. It was straightforward getting here. I parked in the parking lot and walked in from what looked like the back of the diner. There's also a front door with a patio that faces Wellington Street East. I was immediately greeted by a young, enthusiast woman. I let her know that I needed a table for one. She got me to a comfortable booth by the window. The catch is that you have to watch your step to get to your seat. It's a treat when I have breakfast out. I thought that I'd be getting french toast. Well, all that changed when I saw a heading for comfort foods on the menu. Nothing makes me happier than seeing open-faced sandwiches on a menu. It was probably during my days living in Winnipeg that I fell in love with such sandwiches and at least a side. New goal: come here and have every open-faced sandwich on the menu. I got cold water to start. It was refreshing and much needed after running errands. I ordered these items for my meal: - Diet Coke (2) - Hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and veggies My Diet Coke came with a glass with ice. I loved it. I wish the can was larger! I needed a second can for dessert. I loved my hot turkey sandwich. There was a generous amount of sliced turkey smothered in sauce over a slice of white bread. I got to choose my starch. I went with mashed potatoes. There was enough gravy over the turkey that I dunked my spoonfuls of mashed potatoes into it. I loved the steamed veggies. They were perfectly cooked. They also went into the gravy. The meal was delicious. I'd order it again. I felt like dessert. I asked if there was any. Baklava with pistachios. I said yes. I thought that it would be a square or rectangle. Nope. I got a roll. Cool! It was perfect. It had the right amount of honey. It was crispy and yummy. So good! I paid my bill at the table. I tipped and then tapped my credit card. I elected to have the receipt texted to my phone, which also signed me up for its points program. Yay! I learned that this diner has been open since June 2025. I'm always late to any party because I seem to live under a rock or in a cave. I'm glad that I visited this eatery. Great food. Great service. Great! I used the washroom before I left. The women's washroom was clean and had a full-length mirror. This eatery is huge. It looks like there's a cafe for those grabbing coffee and maybe a snack before leaving. I look forward to returning for more good eats and drinks. (148)

Upon entering, the space is super spacious and clean. My friend ordered their 2 egg special with bacon, and I ordered their soup and sandwich combo ($12/13). I decided to go with their tuna salad and chicken noodle soup. Upon recommendation from our server, I also ordered their cappuccino- it was very delicious. Amazing food and great service, I would like to come back and try some of their dinners dishes.

Now they have been around a while, I find the owner that answers calls disrespectful and rude at times. He expects you to know all the rules, won't take a single moment to speak over the phone as they now only take calls via text. Very nice for those that really need service like this (disabled, elderly) drivers usually are ok and the female owner tried to accommodate what she could, but i hate doing business with the regular guy now. ordering is stressful cause if u break a rule they actually charge an extra fee. not normal way to do business at all...but, greed happens and I guess they have enough coming in now they don't feel the need to accommodate regular at home calls.

He then asked if there's addresses with the same number on my street and I said no. He then said "well I'll tell her she's at the WRONG [my address]". He didn't say "at the wrong address". He was placing the blame on me. She ended up coming to the right house (I waited outside and saw that she was on the wrong street) and I gave her my normal tip. She was deaf, so I couldn't make a complaint to her, so I called the same guy back about his unprofessionalism and that he placed blame on me for their mistake. I told him there was a note for them to call me when they got there and to NOT ring the doorbell (because I have a large, hyper puppy). He said the driver is deaf and couldn't call. I told him HE should have called me then. He said he did. I said "no you didn't, you just told me that she rang my doorbell 20 times". He then abruptly said "you're disrespecting my deaf driver so I'm hanging up" and then disconnected the call!!! I called him back and said I NEVER disrespected her and, in fact, said she was a lovely woman and I tipped her as I normally would tip a delivery driver (10%). I then disconnected the call. The guy that runs this "business" is childish, unprofessional and rude (as others have stated in reviews on other sites). I will not be ordering through Just Eats in Oshawa again, for fear that I'd have to deal with or support this HORRIBLE business with extremely poor customer service skills and ethics.
